Stayed at Røros hotel when attending a conference. Great location only 5 minutes from the main street. The rooms have recently refurbished and have New beds. The food is exceptional. The management has a clear philosophy about using local food and I think I've had one of my best meals in Norway ever. Staff is friendly and all have in depth knowledge about the destination.

I spent two days on a conference at Røros Hotell. The conference facilities were great and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The beautiful city centre is a 10 minute walk away. I had a standard single room. The room was clean with plenty of space, but it was cold when I arrived. The food was generally very good and it seems the hotel takes pride in local producers as they well should. Sadly some of the hot meat dishes got cold in the serving trays.
All in all I had a great time at Hotell Røros.

This is a great place to stay with children. The swimming pool was nice with warm water. The childrens playroom was a bit old and could have been redecorated but the children didn't mind. The food was very good. We love that they focus on using locally produced products. We stayed in two connecting rooms with good standard and good beds. The hotel is a short walk from the town centre. Great staff!

I booked our accommodation via email and it was easy liaising with Sara. We walked to the hotel from the train station which took us around 15-20 mins (a little tiring going uphill if you have large bags) but otherwise it was a nice scenic walk. When we got to the hotel the receptionist was friendly and we got to our room relatively fast.

The room has adequate facilities, with tv, hair dryer. We found the bed, pillows and quilt very comfortableand clean and love the room for the beds. Though the colour of the room was rather dark and the dark green curtains didn't help. The bathroom is bright, clean and has a nice strong shower.

It is a nice size hotel with a swimming pool and spa but unfortunately we didn't get to try it out. We did use their free bicycles to go round town. That was lovely. Love the buffet dinner and breakfast. Awesome!

Would have preferred a brighter room but considering the food, the bed and shower it is definitely value for money.

We, a family with 2 children (6 and 12), stayed in a family room for one nigh in July. The room was very clean, and decotrated in a tradtitional Norwegian style. The bed was very comfortable with extra pillows. For the children there was a sofa-bed, and this one was not very comfortable. We also had to make the sofa-bed ourself for the night. The bathroom had a bathtub, and this room was aslo very clean.
The staff was very friendly, and the dinner and the breakfast was good, but not extraordinary.
In the evening we went to the swimming pool, but it was closed with no message on the door explaining why it was closed. We got to try the swimmingpool in the morning. Nice and warm water, but the wardrobes desperately need to be renovated.
The stay at Røros Hotel was OK.
