This villa by Andrea Palladio has a monumental staircase that rises to the temple fronted main floor. Not only is the ascent grand but it useful for threshing grain - very helpful on a working farm, per Palladio's original design. Inside there are Zelotti's frescoes that are so real the figures seem to be climbing off the walls. This villa has side buildings usually included in Palladio's design but not often constructed. Well worth a visit to this remote location for this fabulous original Palladian villa. A world heritage site.
