My partner and I spent 3 weeks all inclusive here from 10th April to 2nd May and had a great time. In fact it was much better than the 5* we stayed in in North Cyprus Dec-Jan. There was a microwave in the restaurant if you needed it. They gave you a packed lunch if you were going out (order day before), there was a free bus to next town several times daily and on Tuesdays there was a free bus to the capital. Large pool, a bit too chilly for us, but others enjoyed it. 2 shops on site for anything you forgot and within walking distance of other shops, plus there was a market on Tuesday and Saturday. Hairdressers and massage available on site. Used the massage and it was fabulous. Reception has sweets and handwipes each day. We found plenty to eat and would recommend the spare ribs on Thursdays, and the pork chops and steak was good too. There was soup, salad, pasta, meat, fish, fruit and puddings daily. No way we could eat all that, so picked a main meal and pudding. Ice cream also available. The coconut one was wonderful. There is a gym with a table tennis table, tennis courts and various games organised by Simon who worked tirelessly. Entertainment in the evening with Parrot, Eagle and Reptile shows on 3 nights, plus a duo once a week. There are washing machines on site if you need them. We did a lot of walking and there is a promenade quite close by. Take your own toiletries or buy when you get there as they are only provided on first day. Beach towels are for hire for 5 euros each, plus 10 euros deposit, which was a bit expensive for 3 weeks so we bought 2 for 11 euros in the town. The safe costs 28.50 euros a week and the internet is 2 euros for 20 minutes but there is free wifi. We had a bungalow which was on 2 floors! Very quiet and equipped with fridge, microwave etc. There were quite a few sunbeds although not enough of them with back rests for those who liked to sit up and read. Would we go back? IN A HEARTBEAT!

BEST HOLIDAY we have ever been on, Family of 5, 2x rooms (last week April) We were looking for a quick cheap and cheerful holiday to chill out by the pool as recently had a bereavement in the family.
We got everything we wanted. Friendly staff, cleaning all the time, met some lovely friendly guests and plenty of sun loungers!
The Boys thought Simone was great keeping them entertained with shooting, archery and football. Well done Simone.
Thanks to the lifeguard as well for keeping the pool area safe all the time and cleaning the sun beds and tables. He took pride in his work. Well done to you too.
Let's remember the great price you pay this holiday, when commenting about the food and drinks.
If you want 5* food, then I'm afraid you need to pay 'at least' another £1000-£2000 more.
The food for us was fine and plenty of it.
We are hoping to go back in Sept/Oct following the advice of the lovely receptionist.

Only 1 negative comment if I had to make one would be the cleaning of the rooms could have been a little better, I have cleaned hotel rooms for many years so possibly a little bias but a few little adjustments makes of a lot of difference.

However, hasn't put us off going back and we cant wait to be back there in September.

My wife & I with 2 boys aged 13 & 11 years stayed in an apartment from 9th. To 16th. April 2014, booked through "Super Escapes".

Although the apartment was sold as having 4 beds it actually only had 3 nos. established beds with a camp bed added. This additional bed made the apartment very cramped.

The balcony which faced East looked over the pool but only had 2 nos. chairs & a table. The dining area inside only had 3 nos. chairs & a small table. We never used the inside table as the extra bed left little room. 2 nos. balcony chairs were provided by the management.

The self catering area had an electric hob, microwave, electric kettle, toaster & a sink without a draining board. There was only 1 no. electric plug to cater for these. The cutlery & crockery were totally inadequate. We purloined this entire shortfall from the complex's dining room surreptitiously.

The apartment was cleaned satisfactorily every day except Sunday to a high standard with clean towels supplied daily.

The bathroom was small but well kitted out with bath, shower, basin, bidet & with plenty of hot water.

All the beds except the camp bed were comfortable.

There was a 30 inch flat screen television but only 2nos. news channels were in English.

We considered eating in the complex's restaurant which would cost 20 Euros a day per person. We decided that the food supplied limited choice & did not look very appetising for a total of 80 Euros a day, so we never sampled the restaurant.

A word of caution when dealing with "Super Escapes" . They quote a price for the holiday but when it comes to payment they tried adding additional charges. When we refused to pay they gave in promptly. They also phoned us just before we left trying to sell other services such as choosing flight seats. This surprised us as "Easy Jet" had already sent us our boarding passes with our seat nos.

Room Tip: Check out the number of beds that the appartment does have without adding an additional bed.

My best friend and I decided to book a week away in he sunshine for her birthday, neither of us had been to Fuerte Ventura and the deal looked good so we booked All Inclusive for a week for the last week in April.

I haven't ever done a 'conventional' holiday (booking an online deal through a travel company & going all inclusive with transfers etc) so this was all new to me.
I was a bit apprehensive as I had always visited a family apartment in Cyprus where I had gone for 25+ years so organised flights! taxis etc myself and knew what I was getting before I had gone so leaving it for someone else to arrange was slightly strange and worrying!

Needless to say everything went fine, flights through Thompson were fine, arrived at Fuerteventura airport and waited for the transfer bus . . The Hotel turned out to be no more than 15 minutes drive from the airport which was great.

We arrived late (around 9pm) by the time we had checked in and found our apartment we had missed the dinner slot but it was great that they have a Pizziera on site to get food outside of the meal times.

I was really impressed with the apartment. It had just about everything we needed for our relaxing girlie week. The apartment was simple and clean. Had a downstairs which had a big living space including a simple sofa bed and 2 comfy chairs, a little dining table with chairs, a small TV and a small kitchen area equipped with microwave, fridge, double hob and kettle (most essential for big tea drinkers!) it was also equipped with a few plates, glasses, cutlery etc . . All we needed.

Upstairs there was a nice size bathroom, very clean with a shower over the bath, the shower head wasn't attached to the wall which I was disappointed about but no sooner did I mention it to the reception the following day and it was fixed which I was extremely grateful for and impressed with such a fast response.

There were 2 single beds as we requested a twin room, plenty of wardrobe space and a big chest of drawers along with my favourite bit . . A big balcony to sit on and a beautiful huge palm tree!

The pool area is lovely and very hot during the day. The pool is very refreshing and large and has a bar area where you can have a drink whilst in the pool, unfortunately this wasn't in use whilst we were there probably due to the time of season but I should imagine it to be fun!

There are a couple of shops on site where you can get most supermarket essentials, a small gym with table tennis and sauna/ jacuzzi and a beauty salon.

Okay so I have given all the thumbs up so far but there is one thing they could definitely improve on and that is the food. Don't get me wrong it wasn't bad and there was always something available that you could eat and like but it wasn't particularly great either. There were a few things during the week we were there that were really good but most of the time it was relatively bland and I think that if this were improved then it would give an all round great experience and I would be rating as excellent. A bit of creative criticism is not a bad thing.

In brief, we had a lovely relaxing holiday and I would definitely recommend this hotel and would definitely go back again. Thank you.

Stayed here last week of march. Hotel was actually great and I have stayed in a lot of hotels! Very very clean and all of the staff were great with the exception of the head receptionist he was very dismissive and unhelpful when I had some basic questions! But the other receptionists were lovely especially the new starter she really tried to help! My room was a good size and a nice view! would deffo recommend this hotel!

The hotel is ok for a cheap getaway , weather was good ... quite windy at times got a good tan in the week we were there (21 - 28 April 14) . Rooms OK . Alexander the barman was outstanding always very professional . Pool area was clean usually plenty of sunbeds although not enough brollys . The hotel do need to get some new matresses which were getting delivered as we left , the one I had to sleep on smelt of urine .
Food not much choice but could always find something , the lager was very tasty San Miguel was served , they need to get proper glasses for the evening bar , drinking out of small plastic glasses on an evening is not good for a 3 star hotel .
Would I return ... probably not , but on the whole not bad for a cheap week in sun .
The Angry Goat pub down the road is very nice well worth a visit

Okay we went all inclusive, which was ace; food and drink all times of the day, optional extras like pizza if you want.
At times the food could be deemed a little bit dodgy but there was usually lots of variety so it was fine.
Any time the food wasn't what we liked, we heading into Caleta de Fuste (5 minute taxi ride costing 3-4 Euro) and tried the local places.
Recommend El Capitans opposite the Barcelo Hotel, amazing Tapas and the people brilliant especially as the don't do menus..... takes patience.

The hotel was great, very clean, nice pool, Simon the entertainments guy was excellent, always had something to do if you wanted to but now pressure if it was just two or three people. The staff are nearly all fantastic especially Paula and the front desk staff.
The hotel was very family friendly but as a couple this wasn't a problem, the bit of distance between the resort and Caleta de Fuste means it's dead quiet and a nice walk along the cliffs to the town (which to be honest is a little too touristy for me).

Would strongly recommend a trip to Correlejo, (just under an hour on a bus) but amazing white sand beaches, sand dunes and a stunning harbour. The place is filled with nice restaurants and nice people.

Hotel was clean, cheap, really friendly and a brilliant relaxing atmosphere we were looking for.
I think if anyone had a problem with the place I'm sure all they would have to do is speak to the staff about it or maybe it just isn't for you.
Very happy.
