I have stayed here a few times and they are five lovely apartments, just outside the village, they are next to a camp and pool, the family are lovely lovely people, you can swim in the sea just out the back of the apartments and the beach is not too far away, they have lovely little balconies that I use to sunbath on, very helpful family who are so kind and very popular little apartments, hopefully me and my family will get to go back one day.More

The friendiness of the personnal. They were very kind and helpful. They were always smiling. We like the service of shuttle a lot. the driver was a very kind person and always smiling. We had a wonderful time there and had a great room with a lot of lavender!

We stayed at the apartments at the end of June, right in the mid of the summer period. Upon arrival, the Esperides apartments met our expectations. The rooms were equiped with modern and easy-to-use facilities and a great view at the Ionian Sea.
The accessibility to local villages and beaches is a plus, since within 10-15 mins one can taste the true experience of what the region has to offer. We found really helpful the fact that the lady owner lives at the complex, so it is easy to get information and a more personalised service.
All in all, highly recommended!

This set of apartments in Marathopolis Greece is the ideal setting if you wish to explore the authentic greek countryside. Situated on the southwest Peloponnese, Marathopolis is a charming village in the prefecture of Messinia with several worth-visiting attractions at a very close distance. Whether you are a fan of traditional taverns or fancy restaurants, archaeological sites or golden beaches, spas or windsurfing, this virgin corner of Greece has it all.
Esperides consist of 5 identical & spacious appartments which can host 4-5 guests each. Whether you are a family, a couple or a group of friends (in my case) it feels like a second home. The owners are very friendly and helpful (they gave us useful tips and maps for the area), the rooms are clean and full of character, the prices are low (even in high season) and the scenery is breathtaking. Just imagine relaxing in a hammock with nothing but the sea breeze and the sunset during a greek summer afternoon and you will have but a small glimpse of what Esperides have to offer.
Tips:
1) You can cook in-house (ask the owners for recipes and places to find local produce)
2) You can swim at the beach or the pool bar nearby in summer.
3) Before going anywhere, just ask the owners for information. They may even arrange a boat trip to the island of Proti (as they did for us) which proved to be a "wild" summer experience not worth missing.
All in all, I highly recommend Esperides and I am definitely re-visiting this year!!!

The property is literally by the sea, the rooms are wonderful and really adjustable since they can accomodate from a couple to a 4-5 person family... Incredible for a getaway romantic vacation, eating breakfast, watching and hearing the sea and having all the peace of mind you want. At the same time is really near touristic places so you are as isolated as you wish and have places to get anything you need really neat!
Fotis the owner is too helpful and full of useful insights and really eager to be your host... Worth every penny definitely...
