“Good place to chill out with family”
Reviewed October 28, 2012

Nice resort by the beach. Good restaurants and water sports. Staff all right and friendly. So called free wifi in rooms not really upto the mark and if u complain staff not really bothered. 'Take it or leave it attitude'. Rooms are nice if not a trifle expensive. Made my reservation through booking.com Had a tough time confirming reservation over the phone. You are put on hold or transferred Succeeded in getting a confirmation after 4 tries. Really put out bt that. Came here during the Eid holidays. If u are looking to relax during this period then it is not the time. Noisy but cant blame the hotel. Just folks having a good time. Probably true for all hotels during this period. Will certainly visit during off season to enjoy its facilities in peace

for an 'off the beaten track' experience in, let's say, a different location, this place is beautiful......admittedly, there's alot of redevelopment going on, but it will make the place more appealing, should all be completed by the end of the year.....but, didn't bother us in the slightest......food is beautiful, views are amazing, rooms are very comfortable.....sailing/sea excursions are brilliant and cleanliness, staff and weather are excellent too.....highly recommended!!!!!!......only drawback?.....have to sort your own transfers to and from the hotel.....30 riyals one way, but as the official Omani taxi company kiosk is just outside the arrivals lounge, it's not much of an effort to sort out.....beautiful place.......oh, and the pools are excellent too!!!!!

Room Tip: the hotel has a variety of rooms to chose from, we only had a studio room, but it was spacious enoug...

I have stayed @ this hotel more than 6 times. I tried the rooms (superior ones) and tried the superior apartments, too. I can assure you that the apartments are cheaper and more spacious.
They are also away from the noise of the hotel's lobby.

The hotel is located in close to sea, close to the main road which is a big advantage.

However, there is not much to do in the area close to the hotel.

They are making some tours to the neighboring cities of Rustaq, Nakhal and even Sawadi village in Barka city where you can go on boat trips.

In Nakhal and Rustaq, there is the forts as well as the hot water springs (Al-Khasfa in Rustaq & Al-Thawarah in Nakhal)

The food selection for the breakfast is not varied and needs improvement.

The Staff are very helpfull and always smiling.

Overall, It is a good hotel. Although the price is a bit on the higher side.

2 nights are more than enough as there is not much to do in the surrounding area.

But there are promotional offers from time to time. You should join there scheme for free as they will be mailing you of any offers they have.

Room Tip: Go for the regular apartment or one bedroom (and Sala) apartment. Cheaper, but remember, no breakfas...

I recently stayed at the hotel. The hotel is perfect for a short get away. The property is extremely good value for money and would recommend it. There is no much nearby, however the hotel has excellent pools and beach. The food in the restaurants was very good.

Room Tip: Sea View rooms worth the extra.

Very Nice hotel, rooms clean tidy, great TV reception, no mini bar in rooms, baths/ shower would be a little high for older guests to get in and out of unsure if all rooms are configured this way The place is a little isolated so you would need a car to get to and from, but if you want to just relax then this place would be great. Staff very helpful, I'm waiting for the weekend buffet lunch because I hear its excellent a legend so some of the locals say. The head chef is friendly and takes time to stop by and have a chat.

The only but is its a little far out of the way for some but not all, you would need a car

Went to this hotel because of a Cobone deal which was worth the money, after a couple of hours driving from Dubai it was a bit challenging to locate the hotel as the map on Google earth was not up to date and the surrounding was missing any hotel signs.

The hotel is located smack on the beach but in the middle of nowhere which means it is not doable without a car.

We were welcomed by a very smiling and helpful Omani staff, check in was straightforward and we were quickly in the room.
The room condition was excellent mainly due to the hotel being very recent, the room view was breathtaking on the Marina and sea, the balcony was large enough to accommodate a table and two comfortable chairs.

The swimming pools were not ready at the time so can't comment on them.

The breakfast buffet was good and there was nothing to complain about

Would recommend this hotel for anyone looking after a quiet retreat far from the city and by the beach.

I was on business recently and stayed at the Millennium Resort Mussanah, i have to say it was absolutely fantastic, form the check in , rooms , food and beverage. I will return again as soon as possible. The staff were excellent and extremely helpful at all times. Great WiFi, TV signal quality was great, excellent air conditioning. Beach repairs ongoing but this will definitely be an advantage, swiming pools and infinity pools are very good.
