Rooms are spacious and well appointed, with attention to the smallest detail to make one's time here a pleasure. The setting is idyllic and the amenities more than adequate to ensure a thoroughly enjoyable stay. The service is excellent, nothing is too much trouble to ensure guests are made welcome and well-looked after - pampered even.
A place to return to and stay longer for as often as possible.

Gill is a fantastic host, friendly, with a wonderful sense of humour. Her home is beautiful; we stayed in the cottage which was lovely, everything immaculate. Breakfast was amazing with home cooked fruit, etc as well as the full English breakfast. Nothing was too much trouble, and we felt immediately at home. The little touches were very much appreciated i.e. the book marks and chocolate as we left. Her dogs Alice and Emma are so cute. We will definitely recommend to all our friends, and we hope to be back one day

We were very pleased with our stay at Kimeret. The breakfast at Kimeret was the best we had in New Zealand. The location of the lodge is beautiful and convenient - between Nelson and Abel Tasman. The suites are comfortable and luxuriusly furnished. Meticulous attention to detail is evident throughout. Nelson/Kimeret was our favorite part of the trip!

This was our 3rd B&B in New Zealand. As we drove up to this lovely house, we thought we had scored again. However, we were slightly put off to discover that our accomodation was not in the main house but in a one bedroom apartment in a seperate block in the garden - approximately 30m from the main house. That aside, we had a very comfortable stay of 3 nights there.

The warmth of the welcome, the advice on the local area, the facilites and the food were all excellent. It was wonderful to return to Kimeret Place after trekking in the Abel Tasman National Park to be able to use the solar heated swimming pool.

We stayed for two nights in January and would happily have stayed longer. Gill was an excellent host, the accommodation was very comfortable and the breakfasts overlooking the estuary were exceptional. The attention to detail such as the brownies for afternoon tea and the 'bedtime story' made it a really memorable stop. Lots to see in the area and Gill offers helpful advice about how to make the most of your time. Hope we can return.

We stayed at Kimeret at the beginning of January and have now changed our plans and returned here at the end of our travels around the south island as we were unable to find better and wanted our memories to be the best. Breakfasts are wonderful with great choices, bedtime stories, chocolate brownies made in heaven. Gill has a passion for exellence and everything she does comes from the heart. We leave tomorrow for the end of our holiday but we will be back in the autumn for sure. Thank you for welcoming us back
