“A unique property in a beautiful location”
Reviewed April 18, 2017 for a stay in April 2017

The property had everything (and more) our group of seven family and friends needed to make our stay very enjoyable and memorable. The facilities e.g. crockery, glassware, pans, linen were plentiful and of good quality. We wanted for nothing. All the rooms clean and well decorated with lots of books to read and art work to enjoy. The house is unique and ideal for a relaxed and very enjoyable stay.

“The perfect venue for a weekend in the country”
Reviewed November 29, 2016 for a stay in November 2016

Artisan Hall is a wonderfully unique property and the perfect destination for a weekend in the country with family or friends.

We had high hopes (from the pictures and the other reviews) when we arrived at Artisan Hall with friends to celebrate a 30th birthday. They were exceeded immediately when we were welcomed by the AGA and then saw the lovely rooms that we'd be staying in. The bedrooms are really cosy, the bathrooms are really nicely appointed and the living spaces are just awesome! The hall is really something else!

I'd love for this place to remain a secret so that we can book it again without disappointment of it being booked up, but the place is so nice and the owners so accommodating that it would be a disservice not to give an entirely positive review so that others can enjoy too!

“Absolutely Stunning”
Reviewed October 19, 2016 for a stay in October 2016

Artisan Hall is a beautiful house with everything you could wish for when looking for a long weekend away! All of the rooms were stunning. The Orangery (Breakfast Room) was a particular favourite of mine, with the autumnal sunshine lighting the room perfectly in the morning. Thank you to Elise for being such a fantastic host (and to Ruth for helping us with the aga!). Hopefully we'll come back soon... T.A.

“Treat Yourself”
Reviewed October 14, 2016 for a stay in October 2016

Easy to find, stunning building, exquisitely decorated and furnished. The Artisan Hall was a real treat. Its the amount of little simple things make the difference i.e quality comfortable beds with crisp, clean bedding, and a good shower, and the sonos sound system. Would love to visit it again.

“An Absolute Dream House: Stunning Location”
Reviewed May 19, 2016 for a stay in May 2016

One never knows until they arrive at a holiday home if it lives up to the pictures of it. Unfortunately, they often don't. In the case of Artisan Hall, however, it was exactly the opposite. Though beautiful, none of the pictures truly did it justice; as a result, it exceeded all our expectations. We were utterly blown away by the size of the Hall and it's stunning decor. The location couldn't have been more perfect: quiet, secluded -- and yet close to several dreamy Cotswold villages. The place was equipped with the most modern conveniences, and yet maintained the ambience of a centuries-old manor. My family is still raving about it. If we return to the Cotswolds (the kissing gates, scones and cream tea are calling me) we wouldn't stay anywhere else!!!

“Mind Blown!”
Reviewed May 29, 2015 for a stay in May 2015

I stumbled upon this place whilst trying to find a country house to celebrate my husband's 30th birthday in, with some of our mutual friends..

To get here, you drive through some lovely winding roads in the cotswolds, only 2 hours from london (4 hrs when driving on a bank holiday!!)..but the long journey was completely worth it.
As we parked up in the driveway we took in the impressive front of the house and as we walked in, things just got better and better...

An orangery as a breakfast room, a lovely fully kitted out kitchen with a pantry and an Aga, a really cosy room for watching tv in the mornings, then walking through to the grand hall...there are absolutely no words to describe how amazing it is to be there! Incredible artwork all over the place, a woodburner, lovely dining table and massive projector screen inside! Not to mention the whole house has a dedicated iPad mini connected to a sonos speaker system to play music in pretty much any room.

the bedrooms were all fantastic.. downstairs is a huuuuge bedroom with an amazing four poster bed which was immensely comfortable. There is also another very chic en suite double bedroom. Upstairs two more bedrooms, both doubles and again very comfortable.

Everything was finished to the very highest standards, and although the place was clearly full of some luxurious, beautiful and most likely very difficult to come by items, it still maintained a very cosy, homely feel.

We spent the May bank holiday weekend having lovely meals in the grand hall, breakfasts in the orangery every morning, going for walks in the countryside and having delicious dinners in the nearby town of Winchcombe. There were also lots of garden games and an outdoor woodburner so we enjoyed the lovely weather and played some croquet on a lazy Saturday afternoon!

Victoria the manager was so helpful in making sure that Ruth the neighbour was available to answer for the online shop that we were going to be late to collect because of the bank holiday traffic...she really put us at ease and was always available to answer any questions that we had.

What an amazing stay...we will definitely be coming back!
