This is a fabulous attraction & provides so much more than a history of the pottery, it is also a social history of the era & provides a fascinating insight into this forward-thinking man & his extended family. The artefacts are well presented & there are a lot of interactive exhibits. What is also of interest is the threads that run between the Wedgwood family & other notaries of the same period, eg Darwin. In addition to the exhibits there is also a factory tour (at certain times of the year) this is also a must & so interesting. The museum is within the visitor's centre & there are a number of shops & seconds outlets plus a cafe & restaurant. There is such a lot to see here that you must allow as much time as possible - or come back again!!
