Description: We focus on simple, honest food cooked to order. The freshest ingredients where possible and a mix of innovative dishes with comfortable flavours. Our authentic chargrill is where the magic happens, cooking a range of delicious chicken, premium steaks, handmade burgers and homecooked favourites. Our bar serves a range of accompanying wines, spirits, draught beers and of course, our famous cocktails. From lunch, to coffee, to afternoon tea, a cocktail in the bar or a romantic dinner for two, NOM is here to make your visit a special one. With our quirky surroundings, combining exposed brick, artificial grass and intimate lighting, NOM provides a comfortable and cool setting to drink & dine. NOM is located on Stafford Street, Stoke-on-Trent City Centre (Hanley), minutes away from the intu Potteries Shopping Centre, Cineworld Cinema, The Regent Theatre and Victoria Hall. NOM continues to be known as the largest independent restaurant and bar in the city centre, offering fresh food, fantastic cocktails and friendly service. Despite being in the city centre, we provide free car parking to our customers on our car park next to Kwik Fit on Marsh Street (ST1 5QZ) which is a minute walk away from the restaurant. We are the only restaurant to have a sheltered sit-down smoking terrace for those who cannot resist the urge.

Our first visit to Nom and certainly not our last!

Fab service..lovely staff..nice decor and venue

We had the lunch menu which had been changed that day and we had cajun chicken sandwich and fries. It was all piping hot, fresh and really tasty followed by banoffee pie and peanut butter stack. We couldnt fault anything, nice portion sizes and we were both full up afterwards. A nice little lunch treat after shopping.

Would definately recommend

5 of us ate here last night after many good recommendations, the placeitself is lovely and the atmostphere is pleasant, food very dissapointing. Starters £3.95 for 3 tiny breaded mushrooms, very poor, also 3 out of 5 meals came out without sides that should of been included, the waitress checked this out then came out with 2 eggcups not 3 of coleslaw, also the waitress never once asked if we would like an further refreshments, if it was a very busy night, even though thats poor service, you can understand but it wasnt at all busy. Dont think i will be returning, far better places with far better foo and service just around the corner.

During a whistle stop visit we popped in here for lunch on a Saturday and took advantage of the 2 course for £10 menu.I chose the fish cakes with dipping sauce as my starter which were a little bland and the sauce was rather disappointingly the sweet chilli type out of a bottle.
For the main course we both had the burger which was nice but nothing special and they were unable to provide any form of hot sauce like Tabasco (only the aforementioned sweet chilli) to accompany mine which for a modern restaurant was surprising. I dont know the Stoke on Trent restaurant scene at all but judging by the positive reviews if this is local standard then for us NOM, including stained chairs, was no better than a Frankie n' Bennys.
