The two of us went for a light dinner. A minestrone soup each, and a main course fettucine each. We brought our own bottle of wine and ordered a large bottle on meneral water. Pleasant staff and nice atmosphere.
The soup was nice but nothing special, and the pasta just average. Both courses came with parmesan on top, a problem as one of us dislikes parmesan; the waitress tried to tell us this was normal in Italian restaurants. I guess she does go to many, or maybe we just spend too much time in Leichardt.
The menu states thet "mixed vegetables or mixed salad are complimentary with main course". When I asked the waitresss during the course of our meal she advised that that does not appply to main course sized pastsa dishes. I didn't feel like arguing.
So 2 soups. 2 main course pastas (one of which was unpalatable due to the cheese), no complimentary salad, mineral water and corkage - $99. Be your own judge.
