I have stayed here a few times in the past 18 months; the first time by acident, not the last two, however.

Want to go to sleep and wake up with views outside your door overseeing Table Mountain and Cape Town? Are you tired of the usual look and feel of overpriced hotels with questionable breakfasts? Then look no more.

Each time I stay here I seem to enjoy it more than the previous. Quite, very comfortable, very private. Isolated from noise and hussle and bussle of the city but close enough it you need to get there.

Do you like waking to a fresh espresso or cappuccino and then an extensive real, hot breakfast. You will start your day refreshed.

In my opinion this is the place to stay in Cape Town.

It is very lovely B&B in cape town,I am from hk and travel a lot during last 3 years, this is the first B&B can let me have the feeling like stay in my own 5 star hotel......home. every evening u can have a drink and enjoy the whole table mountain view, watch the sunset, enjoy the nice night view of cape town, the good way is u can lie down in the bathtub to enjoy the nice view especially after a day's hard work. and it is run by a nice family , after i stay in there for 3 weeks we are a good friend now. and i still miss the big and nice breakfast , the owner serve me the different style breakfast even chinese style to made me without the homesick.......,it is very nice,i want to bring my wife to this B&B for vacation next time.

liked: view;bathtub;breakfast;friendship.......
disliked: need a car.

I recently visited Cape Town on a business trip and spent 2 nights at the Panaview B&B. All of the rooms have a view overlooking the city of Cape Town with a backdrop of Table Mountain. There's a lovely little terrace which was a great place to relax and enjoy the view and a glass of wine at the end of the day. The breakfasts were enormous and were a great start to the day. My room was large and very comfortable. The bathroom was luxurious with large soft towels, soaps, shampoos etc...
This is a luxury B&B but still has the warmth and friendliness of a family run B&B. I was treated with a very warm welcome and felt thoroughly looked after during my stay.
Plattekloof is an affluent part of Cape Town and the surrounding neighbourhood seemed to be very calm, quiet and relaxed. There's also a park at the end of the road with a small lake.
You will need your own transport if you stay here. The center of Cape Town is an easy drive from the B&B and will take about 15 to 20 minutes. This is a great choice if you're looking to spend the night somewhere peaceful and relaxed after a busy day.
