Although not golfing, stayed for one night and enjoyed stay, great breakfast and very welcomming staff, ideal as a base for exploring or for one night, as a golfer course did look in superb condition and might look to go back to try out one of their golf packages.

Just back from an excellent stay at the Drumoig Golf Hotel. We were a group of golfers and found everything about the hotel and course catered perfectly for our needs. The rooms were freshly decorated, clean and spacious. The food was very good as was the well earned beers in the bar that has stunning views of the course. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The golf course had some stunning holes although some were under re-construction it didn't takle too much away from the round. For a very affordable golf trip with St Andrews nearby this hotel ticks all the boxes. We'll be back.

We were looking forward to a professional golf hotel, what we got was an average bed and breakfast type establishment. On arrival were told we would be given a 'special rate' in the morning to compensate items unavailable, including no bar. Cold day and the rooms allocated were not preheated. No facilities the day we stayed so for food or a drink it was a travel to Dundee. In morning the breakfast was very average and basic with no menus. The special price became previously agreed price.

Room Tip: The rooms are away from the reception, meal areas and an upper floor may be best.

23 golfers spent the weekend at Drumoig from the 11'o clock section of Braehead Golf Club. we played 2 rounds of golf on a fantastic course. The staff in the hotel and the starter at the golf course were very good, they were really friendly and could not do enough for us. The food was amazing, it was good quality and the presentation was brilliant. All in all this was a great weekend so much so that we are looking at returning next year. Thanks to everyone at Drumoig.

Drumoig Golf Hotel was a surprise. We are golf traveller and we found a great ratio quality / price. Rooms were clean and people nice and pleasant. The golf course is really funny, we enjoyed a lot during our stay. The Hotel is in a good position to reach St. Andrews and Fife goulf course in a quarter of an hour.

Stayed in September for one night. This is basically run as a golf club, so has lovely views.
The staff are friendly and couthy, but lack professionalism and the standard of cleanliness is not wonderful. (The bar chairs were filthy and our room windows full of finger prints). Our (upgraded) room shared a (thin) wall with the kitchen vent, meaning a loud background noise throughout the early evening and in the morning from 6.30am until 7.30am. The actual hotel grounds need attention although the golf course is well cared for. Fine, I'm sure, if you like golf and golfers.
