We visited The Moody Cow as I saw it advertised in a shop in Ross on Wye and the name caught my eye. What a lovely surprise. Really lovely pub, great surrounding and fantastic service. We sat outside due to the lovely weather and the service was attentive and friendly. Food was great and there are lots of little touches which really make this pub stand out. Highly recommended.

We visited the Moody Cow for Sunday lunch today and they have the WOW factor. We were greeted and seated in seconds with such warmth it took me back. They were so accomidating to my 9 month year old son, even ensuring the food served was suitable for his cows milk allergy. The food was outstanding as was the service shown by the staff. Sadly we do not live locally otherwise it would become our local. One of the best places I have visited in years. Fantastic place.

We were a large group of 3 generations, including some veggies and allergies. The Moody Cow accommodated us all and each of us had a great meal. Good food, good wine, good ambience, excellent and friendly service. Highly recommended.

This is not the first time we have eaten at the Moody Cow, each time the food has been excellent.
However this time we took American friends for Sunday lunch and it was certainly one of the best Sunday lunches we have ever had, relaxed, good ambience our friends were full of praise.
Dawn &Chris & staff are superb, so welcoming and helpful, but back to the food....Smoked salmon wonderful flavour, the lamb succulent, so too was the beef and the puddings were to die for!!
This is certainly a wonderful establishment, we will be back very soon
