Spent the weekend of the Queens Jubilee, and met as we booked in by Alun, then soon after met Lisa. Perfect hosts, and very welcoming. Had a meal on Saturday night, which we could not fault. and a well stocked bar with everything one could wish for, including many local ciders.
We were fortunate to be allocated a four poster room, with an outlook over Coppetts Hill. We only had to ask for a hairdryer which was sent to our room within a few minutes.
Full english breakfast every morning set us up for the day.
The Inn is situated in the countryside, surrounded by farmland, where the farmers had obviously been muck spreading. This resulted in a few flies in the bar/restaurant area which was not a problem for us as Lisa was well stocked with fly spray. Unfortunately 1 or 2 of the guests did nothing but complain about this.(What do they expect), but it did not put us off, and we eagerly await our next visit to this part of the Country, and would not hesitate to use The Hostelerie again.More
