We stayed in a Little Sur Cabin, which was really cute and cosy. Ours was located near the stream and so furthest from the road (which you probably want if you don't want to hear cars zooming by). The fire pit outside the cabin is what really sold the place to me. At night, with the fire on, all wrapped up, was pretty romantic experience. The main negative of Glen Oaks are that a) the log cabins (if you choose them) are actually semi-detached and you can hear the people next door knocking about, and b) it's pretty expensive for what it is (GBP£200 a night). Overall, it's a much better/cheaper option than the expensive Post Ranch Inn up the road.
