This place is also off grid, but there is a satellite dish in the lobby so you can get reception. The luxury yurts sleep 2, the restaurant serves some of the healthiest and most delicious food in the area, and it does not get more peaceful than this. A short 4 hours from L.A.

Best spicy tuna roll I've ever eaten! Everything was fresh and delicious and beautifully prepared. Limited seating so come early.

Had chicken and salmon, with beet salad and flat bread for appetizer. Everything was delicious and we appreciated that much of it was grown in their own organic farm.

Cozy small Suhi place (about 8 seats at the bar) - come early, it's first come, first serve!
Sushi cook Sarah was just great and her creations were even more so - thanks a lot for a great evening. Really fresh produce and traditional as well as innovative sushi dishes make a perfect sushi dinner here.
Japanese and local beers as well as very good wines served in familiar atmosphere that invites to chat with the ones sitting next to and around you.

A group of friends and I hit up Treebones last fall, having a "Yurt Glamping" adventure. One of the draws was the sushi restaurant. We ate sushi on the second night, sitting on the porch/balcony and were treated to the most amazing sunset I've ever seen. Just outstanding! I must say, however, that although the service was good, the food was only average. And the restaurant food we had the first night was not any better. It was nice to not have to travel 20 miles to the next restaurant after a day of hiking. Breakfast was very good and we got a kick out of the "Portlandia"-esque earth conscious choices such as pasta noodle for coffee stirrers! Very clever.
