After an hour hike up a mountain in Pfeiffer Big Sur (thinking that’s the park my friend recommended), we drove another 15 minutes down the PCH and found this beautiful park. Since we already paid at the other one it was free to park here. They were only letting one car in after one car came out, but it was less than a five minute wait. We were like the third car back (even though the sign at the street said parking lot was full and many people were just parking on the street). We only went to see the waterfall that dumps into the Pacific. It really isn’t a hike, but a paved trail that takes ten minutes to get to the lookout point. There were lots of people and the trail was closed at a certain point, but people don’t stay long so just wait to get up to the fence to get your pics and then move along for the next group. It was gorgeous.
