“Worth the money”

Very informative, enjoyable time. Our grandkids loved it and so did we. Be careful of the monkey's though.

“Real fun, short and a bit overpriced”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 16, 2012 via mobile

Overall I would say that our time at the zoo was greatly enjoyed.
You arrive and are greeted by some sort of concierge that explains the workings of the zoo and directs you to the ticket booth right behind him.
The cost to get in was roughly 85 USD for me and my wife and the purchase of 1 feed bag.
You are taken on a personal guide by a real knowledgeable and friendly tour guide who shows you all the animals, and explains a lot about them.
The tour itself is great, it's almost fully interactive; you get to hold baby alligators, snakes, lizards, pet and feed the herd of deer and feed some wild spider monkeys while they swing and cause shenanigans in the trees overhead.
My only complaint is that the entire walk through of the guided zoo tour was just over an hour and a half, and that the price is a bit much for such a short tour.

“just awesome! go and you will see why”

Great way to get up close and personal with some amazing animals. Holding the snakes and differnt kinds of lizard were really special....i loved the mexican hairless dogs. They look like they are form a cartoon. At first glance you may be scared of them, but they are so sweet and love to be pet :>)

“Interesting and informative with some hands on excitement”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 13, 2012

This is a 'zoo' of rescued native wild animals. You have to have a guide to go round and we were assigned one just for us. Our guide was Jonathan and his English and knowledge of the animals were excellent. The entry fee is relatively expensive but it is well worth it. We had a great time. Highlights included handling a young crocodile and a small snake, feeding the deer and walking through an area of 30 full-grown crocs with no barriers between us.

“Most incredible zoo experience possible!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 27, 2012

If you are traveling to Cancun with or without kids, this is a must do experience. You receive a personal guide to export you through the zoo making the experience very educational and personable. There are many wonderful moments like wild monkeys encounters, deer feeding and so much more that would be best to keep a surprise. We are family of 6 with 4 kids between 13-16 and this was unquestionable everyone's favorite experience.
