My wife and I spent a week here - excellent choice. Rooms are bright with natural light - lots of windows, yet the sun only peeks through the many trees meaning it does not get hot. Nice little indoor patio with a hammock, and a tree growing up through the screen. Nice backyard with another hammock, chairs. Across the street from the beach, but you have to walk a few minutes to get access. Robin is a wealth of information about the area, and organizes tours to the cenotes as well as a lecture series on the area. Richard's La Duna is a great place for fresh food for breakfast and lunch - great fresh juices and smoothies. Definitely a good place to unwind - close to Playa del Carmen, and only 20 minutes from the Cancun airport, but away from the hustle and bustle of those places. Lots of great options for food in the town as well.
