We are a retired couple, late 60's, stayed a week at Buenos Dias end of January. Eva and Benardo are very welcoming and incredibly helpful. In a seniors moment I left my daypack on the ADO bus and Eva immediately mobilised a local taxi driver, the amazing Miguel, to chase the bus to Playa del Carmen to retrieve the backpack. If you need a taxi in Puerto Morelos get Eva to call him, he is a really good man.
Buenos Dias is good value, breakfast simple but more than adequate. We had cooking facilities and plenty of stores and a supermarket nearby. A/C, fan and shower all fine. Housekeeping staff really nice and efficient. It is located in the urban area 3 km from the beach but we enjoy walking/biking and taxis/collectivos are always a cheap option. Places to eat nearby but more variety down at the beach. It's a busy small town with music, dogs, dust etc but very friendly and felt extremely safe day and night. Close to the well organised Botanical Gardens , lots of spider monkeys the day we were there.
Two thumbs up for the Buenos Dias from us.
