A nice tucked away place in sleepy Puerto Morelos, right between Chimichurri and the pizzeria.

Perfect for couples, less so for 2 guy friends due to the (very) romantic atmosphere. Nevertheless that did not stop us from visiting numerous times over the past couple of months.

Fortunately the owner Constancia is almost always around in the evenings and she always livens up the atmosphere.

A decent selection of wines+the partnership with Chimichurri makes it an overall complete experience.

There is a decent white from Spain (an albarino I can't remember the name of) that is definitely worth the money.

From the food, I would point out the mixto platter(cheese+cold cuts, definitely worth it, especially if its 2 people).

Other than that, the iberico and caprese sandwiches are very decent!

Tucked away from the street, a lovely haven where you can get great wines at low prices. We had two different bottles from the Baja peninsula. The house menu has excellent VERY large salads. Plus you can order off the menu from Chimichurra next door -- beef specialties and great pizzas. Excellent atmosphere, wines and food.

My husband and I wandered in to Tannino's to have a glass of wine and ended up staying and having a delicious bite to eat. He had the Shrimp plate and I had the Pear salad. Both were huge and absolutely fabulous. We will be returning before the end of our trip tp buy the lovely Argentinian Pinot Grigio we enjoyed. It is a beautiful little spot beside Al Chimichurri. Quiet and relaxing and we had a lovely visit with the owner. We highly recommend coming to Tannino's. it is well worth it and a good price point. We will return before our vacation is over!

We spent a very enjoyable evening at Tanino's, arriving early in a rain storm, and famished. The lovely proprietor seated us inside and recommended an excellent Carmenere ~ we waited the rain out then moved outside to the beautiful tables outside, listened to live music as we had delicious empanadas from the neighboring restaurant & then a FABULOUS salad with arugula & bacon - one of the best salads of the trip! The service was amazing, the wine superb & the food imaginative & flavorful. We'll definitely be back!

This is a really rustic looking place in the daylight, but very romantic at night. Seating is mostly out doors. Great for a romantic evening, but you really must try the food. Portions are enormous and well priced. Try the cheese and meat platter, it is easily enough for 4. The chef's shrimp plate is another excellent choice and lots for 2. You can also order off Al Chimichurri's menu if you want meat. One of our favorite spots.
