Description: We are a tipical local seafood restaurant, worried about our friends satisfaction, thats why we only use the best quality products and ingredients. We offer a good variety of food: guacamole, shrimp quesadillas, fish fillet, ceviches and coctails, shrimps, lobster, conch and some house specialities. We also offer some drinks and coctails like margaritas, pina colada, daiquiris, cazuela with tequila, margachela (margarita with a beer), beers, sodas, fresh waters and some spirits and liquors.

We have been coming to Puerto Morelos for many years and had never tried El Pesquero. We brought friends with us for dinner and had an absolutely fabulous experience. The service was wonderful. Our waiter recommended the mojitos made with fresh local mint. They were spectacular. Then we ordered the fish of the day which was hogfish. We got a large fish to share fried whole with garlic sauce. So delicious. They cut it up into pieces so it was easier to deal with. It was served on a large platter with pickled onions, coleslaw and rice. We could also have had tortillas, but didn't feel we needed them. The fish was cooked perfectly and so sweet. The waiter told us it had been swimming in the ocean two hours ago. Can't recommend this restaurant highly enough.

We ate the fish of the day, which was grouper, and the seafood mixola and both were excellent. This is an authenic local restaurant with very reasonable prices. It is one of our favorites.

Last day in Puerto Morelos and we walked past this restaurant and were lulled in. It was a Saturday and became very busy mainly with locals. The staff were lovely and attentive and the food was brilliant. We had the usual chips and dips and guacamole. We shared 3 fish tacos and a chicken burrito washed down with a Corona and Montejo. If only we had discovered this little gem earlier. Prices were really good too.

We had seen reviews for this restaurant and walked about 40min along beach to get, to it, but well worth the effort. Visited on 3 occasions and the food didn’t disappoint. If you love fish it’s heaven. It’s a little tucked away so was never busy, but staff very friendly and accommodating. We arrived as they were closing one evening but they stayed open and cooked the best lobster you could ask for. Pity most of the holiday makers don’t leave the complex of the hotel because they are missing a real gem by not venturing here.

Nice atmosphere the floor was sand. The food is decent with nice portions. We went during the off-season. We were the only ones in the restaurant at dinner time. The reason I gave this only three stars was because the mosquitoes were ferocious there. After the waiters saw scratching and slapping for about 10-15 minutes they came over and gave us mosquito repellent for us to put on ourselves so we could make it through dinner. I probably would not return to this restaurant due to the mosquito situation.
