Lindsey and Tadd make you trip. We went snorkling with them (well actually with Noah and Abraham), but they know the right spots and do make your trip very enjoyable. Just one of the best and most relaxed companies in town.

Hello, we would like to take this opportunity to write you a quick response to your review, you wrote for us back so long ago and thank you for it and give you some updates about Wet Set and the changes that have happened over the last few years.

Change in Ownership - In the Spring of 2016 Wet Set changed hands to Stafford and Jewal (hello) and have moved their children to Puerto Morelos Mexico to maintain and grow Wet Set into the brand that costumers have come to expect. While large grow isn't in our plans some should be expected. We have recently add a new Boat "Frigata" so that we can offer more diving and still be able to maintain our Snorkeling adventures.

With our small growth we have also revamped the webpage to be more user friendly and have added a subscribers section so you can keep up with us and any changes going on.
We look forward to meeting you on your next visit to Puerto Morelos. We hope you will join us again for a underwater adventure.

We had a pleasant snorkeling experience in Puerto Morello with the guys from WetSet. They took us to see some great spots, although the sea was a little choppy that day. We were able to see beautiful corals, lots of fish, a turtle, lobsters and conches.
There is a reason why these guys are rated as number one. They will give you excellent value for the money. Will use them again when in Mexico.

We just got back from Mexico, went snorkeling on 1/2/13 with WETSET. Everything was ready when we got there, Lindsay welcomed us, Noah was very polite and cordial, he got us set up and ready. Equipment was great, we got off on time.
Reef was fabulous, our guide, Crispy Bacon, was informative and patient, the views and fish were spectacular. Short boat ride.
Never felt uncomfortable, gear was secured in their office while we were out.

I would definitely recommend !

My wife, daughter (13) and I visited Puerto Morelos December of 2012. Lindsay - one of the owners of Wet Set - was very helpful putting together a package for us: organizing airport transfers, an apartment to rent, and diving. She got us oriented when we arrived, made sure we were comfortable, and kept us informed about what was happening throughout our stay. My daughter completed the junior scuba diver certification. She learned a lot. Lindsay was great building her confidence and skills. I dove deeper sites with Tadd - the other owner -- and I think he has a good team. The boat captains were excellent and tracked the divers perfectly. The divemasters displayed awareness and skill. The BCDs and regs were newer and in good condition. In ten dives, saw a good mix of bottom types and wildlife (rays, turtles, eels, etc.). Also visited 2 cenotes. Puerto Morelos has a laidback vibe and some very good restaurants. Worth a visit. Wet Set would be a good choice for dive classes, fun diving or snorkeling.

Wet Set Divers is the place to go if you want a great diving or snorkeling adventure.

We stayed in the hotel where they are located, which made it easy for us. While we had a personal introduction to Lindsay and Tad before we went, I did check out the other options in town. I have more than 200 dives, and can absolutely say Tad was the best dive master I have had in the last ten years. He was attentive, informative, and fun. He spent time finding things for us to see, rather than keeping us in some forced line behind him. The dives were not cut short to some pre-set time, and we were able to maximize the time and air supply. Lindsay took my daughter on a night dive, which she loved, and Noah took us snorkeling on the reef one afternoon. He was a sweetheart. Safety was paramount, but making sure we had a fantastic dive was just as important. We couldn't have asked for a better experience overall! Their team is extremely friendly and does everything for you. The equipment is in great shape, and is sorted when you arrive, and if you take a second trip, the boat, beached only 100ft from the shop, is loaded and ready to go. Surge wasn’t too bad, but even so, we took everything off in the water and handed it to them. No climbing the ladder with your tank, like another dive outfit I used recently.

Being December, the water was a little cold, well for those of us from Arizona, probably 76-77 degrees Fahrenheit. They gave me a two wetsuits, a full suit and a shorty, which was perfect. The dives were all about 60ft, but the visibility was at least 100ft. Colors were vibrant and none of the dives were as “green” as other dive sites in the Caribbean/Bahamas.

You won’t believe the wealth of marine life that you will see. They say there are more than two hundred and fifty different species of marine life on the reef, and we saw too many of them to count. We took two different trips, including one of Tad's favorites, the six toe cat. We saw, eagle rays, jacks, parrotfish, amberjacks, stingrays, many types of coral – the elkhorn coral is enormous, sea anemones, snappers, Jew fish, groupers, barracuda, moray eels, starfish, lobster, scorpion fish, jurel, octopus, spiders, turtles, yellow jacks, shrimp, grunts, trunkfish, sea urchins, queen conch, box fish, and several beautiful lion fish. If you want a handy fish chart, check out this link. It says Cozumel, but we saw everything on this page and more. http://www.cozumeldivemap.com/fishchart.html

We also went with them to Dos Ojos cenote. Wet Set took us to this cenote that is full of majestic sites and is truly a unique experience. The clarity of the water combined with the wonderful formations in the caverns allows you to see a world that you might know even existed. The mineral formations and plunging deeps, lit by morning shafts of sunlight, made the drive a near-religious experience. We saw several cat fish and shrimp, and came up in one part of the cave to see the bats flying overhead. If you have a hood and booties at home, take them with you. You can use their wetsuits, but you will appreciate the extra warmth and the dive shop does not provide those. The guide gave me his hood for the second dive and it made a tremendous difference in my overall enjoyment.

It was a great week. We were there the week before Christmas, and honestly, the place was deserted. The beach had maybe 15 people, and I think we were the only people in the hotel. We didn't stop from the moment we arrived. If you have extra time, drive/take a taxi to Akamal and snorkel with the turtles. The afternoon we were there, we saw 15 Turtles within 100ft of shore…shallow enough for the youngest in your group!!!

If you are looking for other things to do, we climbed the tower at Coba, rented bikes and biked through the jungle there, visited the Mayan ruins at Tulum, which was mobbed for the “end of the year celebration”, walked the beach, tried a dozen restaurants, including a Mayan roadside stand near the cenote - which was fabulous, the best food we had all week!!, Margaritas and guacamole are plentiful, so relax and enjoy. We crammed about as much as you possibly could in four days and five nights. I could have used a day to lie on the beach to sleep, swim, and be "bored". It was much too short. We will definitely go again, and we will definitely join Wet Set Divers on more fabulous adventures.

Thank you Wet Set Divers for making our week a true holiday!
