Alain and Christine are very cool. They have two dogs and a cat who are very cool as well.
It's kinda like a combo of a hostel and a hotel. Very economical, but you still get lots of cool travelers from all over the world to talk with.
It's not a fancy all-inclusive, I admit. But it's also 5-10x cheaper and the other guests are actually not annoying.
The neighborhood might look a little rough, but it's actually pretty safe. And there is an awesome hut/restaurant right across the street.

What a wonderful place. Cozy, comfy, inviting, and homey are the first couple of words that come to mind to describe this place. The owners are soooo nice and helpful and the area is great. It's not in the middle of touristville so you truely get a feeling of genuine authenticity. I will be going back, and I will be staying longer, there is no doubt about that.

Me and my wife stayed for 5 days in January (2011) and loved every
minute of our stay. The rooms were very cozy and clean....what a place to sit back and relax after a busy day exploring the market places and beaches in this part of Mexico. Christine and Allan go the extra mile to help enjoy vacation. Thanks

This place is great for someone who is opened minded and ready to experience the local culture in an relaxed adventure. Casitas Kinsol is a little paradise within its walls. They have mango, guanabana and coconut trees there with an enchanting decor and great energy about the place. The area where the casitas are located might be a bit intimidating for someone that does not know Spanish... but at the same time, we challenge everyone to go to casitas and meet the wonderful hosts of the place. They are great people as well as great hosts and givers of very relevant advice as to where to go and what to see... they might even provide the pleasure of taking you there. Ask the duo for recommendations to eat locally and you will be pointed out to great tasty, healthy and affordable meals which will not be disappointing.
Every room in the casitas is an individual expression of art with its own charm so ask how you can be placed in a perfect room for you. The beach is a 5 minute ride at 50 cents and Puerto Morelos has much to offer.
Casitas is everything you want to be and more.
