The property was amazing, first time to Mexico. If you are looking for a quiet place where the staff puts in the extra effort to make you feel special then this is your place. The rooms were amazing, immaculate, and all-inclusive stocked daily with beer, sodas, etc. Champagne and fruit on welcome. Restaurant food was good and we had different options every night. The small town of Puerto Morelos is just 3km down the beach...we had a nice lunch in town and drank the day away then walked back just in time for a wedding on the beach before dinner.

Room Tip: Be sure to put your do not disturb sign up if you truly do not want to be disturbed, as there are 2-3 sets of staff that are highly efficient that clean, restock, and setup room during the morning.

This was our fourth summer returning for a family vacation at dreams Riviera Cancun. We love love love this resort. You can see my other three reviews the past three July. Everything from the staff, facility, food,
rooms, cleanliness, pools and beach, bars, layout, entertainment, kids activities- it's all perfection. The food at the resort is excellent overall. A few of the restaurants shine a little more than the others but overall very very good. The pools are beautiful and the bars on the beach and in the pool and next to the pool are spectacular. One great advantage this resort has is that there is an outdoor grill is open from 11 to 5 PM each day. Great to grab lunch and especially if you have kids everything from pizza, burgers, fries as well as healthier choice like salads, pasta salad, it's all there. Easy access to especially if you have children it's nice that they can be somewhat independent at lunchtime. There
are lots of little extras here that really make this resort great. Every afternoon they have chef that hand pass appetizers, fruit cups, frozen Popsicles, drinks in coconuts, all by the pool and beach area. A nice little extra touch. The kids club is great as well. Hourly activities that are listed on the daily newsletter so you can know exactly what is happening all day see your kids can go all day or just pick and she's particular activities they would like to go to. Cannot say
enough good things about this resort. And their staff is truly phenomenal. They are there to serve and please. This hotel absolutely earns it's stars. We will be returning again next
summer – no doubt.

We booked our vacation package through Westjet with a direct flight from Edmonton to Cancun. The flight and ground transfer were seamless for our family of 18, age ranging from 10 to 80. The Dreams Riviera Cancun is a well-kept resort, small, but contains lots of nice features. However, I wish we had selected a hotel located closer to other properties or to town so that we would not feel so secluded. Transportation anywhere outside the resort is limited and expensive. There are 6 restaurants on site. It is amazing that the wait time is generally acceptable even with our big crowd. The food quality is fresh but most ethnic restaurants lack authenticity, so I'd rate their food a little above average, including the fine dining French restaurant. We do like their all inclusive drinks, alcoholic and non-alcoholic. The Mexican coffee and variety of fruit juices at breakfast are quite good! We had bad experience with the rooms. Out of eight rooms, three have plumbing problems. One smelled so bad that even the hotel staff covered their nose when they entered it. After switching to a new room, the shower drain was clogged and the water overflow into the living area! Maintenance dug out a ball of hair from the drain. One room has an AC problem that the temperature would not go below 24.5C, even after the maintenance crew came to work on it! Yet another room had a light bulb that was changed and was improperly reinstalled such that it came loose for unknown reasons, shorted the circuit and blacked out the whole room. The free Wifi is a joke! Even with the pass code, it is so spotty that you cannot rely in WhatsApp or iMessage to talk to one another! The signal is weak even in the lobby area. They said you'd have to be a "preferred" guest in order to get strong wifi! On the positive side, most of my family members enjoyed the spa. Some took advantage of the daily discounts. The VIP Services coupon book has a coupon that says by presenting this coupon to Fini the jewelry store, receive a free pendent. When my family went to redeem the coupon, they were imposed an extra rule that requires them to buy a chain in order to get the pendant. That is purely false advertisement and left a bad taste in our mouths! We attended a sales presentation on site, and they have a good program to sell. However, based on some of the experience described above, we gave them a definitive no when asked if we would purchase the Unlimited ownership. Even thought we can use it and can afford it, their product still has plenty of room for improvement and the confrontational attitude of the sales manager did not help salvage the situation. Looking forward to an excursion to Secreto tomorrow!

We recently returned from a wonderful wedding at the Dreams Riviera Cancun Resort. We stayed at the resort for 8 days in July 2014, and had a great time. The resort and facilities are very clean and well kept. We had a Preferred room with a private plunge pool which was a great idea since the main pool areas were always crowded. The food was very good, better than a lot of all-inclusive resorts we've stayed at. The staff was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The waiters and bar personnel always were available and very willing to make our stay memorable. My wife got ill on the last two days and Orlando, a waiter at the Oceana/Seaside restaurants, went out of his way to get her special food for her meals. Thank you Orlando. This resort is a family resort so there are a lot of families with children. Even though our stay was memorable, we would probably like to stay at one of the adults only sister resorts next time.

Room Tip: Rooms with a private plunge pool are the way to go.

Stayed from June 21st to June 28th

1. Room: great room amazing view we stayed at preferred club oceant front view, clean, spacious and very comfortable.

2. Food: could be better but its ok not bad at all we had dinner at

Buffet almost the same menu at lunch time
Portofino standard food nothing special
El Patio Mexican food not bad
Japanese Restaurant i guess this is the only one that i didnt like at all, the food is so plain there.
Poolside dinner pretty good
Seaside grill not bad
Oceana cant compalin.

In all of the restaurants and bars we receive a great service, is the reason that make me visit this hotel again. Edgar, Oliver, Rafa, Jose at the buffet and Luis and Jose at the pool excelent service they always had a yes for everything.

Room Tip: Preferred room front ocean view, great room 2351 is a very good one, i wll ask for the same room next time.
