“Lovely food!!”

We visited here on a foggy rainy Saturday during our recent camping trip to Anglesey, and it was loved by everyone. They have their own onsite bakery, using the flour produced by the mill, and use & sell their bread & cakes in their cafe, where the food is delicious!! Our boys (4 & 8) loved looking round the mill, and also the roundhouses, and when asked just before we came home what was the best thing we'd done/place we'd gone to during our holiday, both replied "the windmill"!

Had lunch here recently. Really good value for money and excellent food. I had not heard of the place before so it was a very pleasant surprise. Well worth a visit. I will go back there the next time I visit Anglesey.

Lovely place on a sunny day. Great to walk around and good for children to run around. Plenty of education there too and sometimes they have activities in the round houses that have been built there.you can also just go to the nice tea room, if you have no interest in the workings of the mill which is handy. I suppose it is a little difficult to find but make the effort if you're on holiday in the island because it really is something a little different to see. There are road signs anyway.
A special mention to the youngsters working in the mill, they are really pleasant and welcoming. They smile and give you plenty of time to study the menu. They seem to like their jobs!! Yeah!!
Diolch yn fawr gennod!

Our daughters 3 & 5 loved it here. The coffee shop serves delicious cakes as well as selling bread made in the bakery there. Our children loved the tiny loaves which we took home for their tea! The grinding of flour kept them busy enough so that we could read the information boards about the windmill and they enjoyed climbing the ladders to the top of the windmill even if they didn't fully understand how it all worked! The roundhouses and small walk to the old bakery made this good value for money as the children enjoyed these and enjoyed running around the pathways. It wasn't quite windy enough for the sails to be going round when we were there but we're going to go back on a windy day to see them in action from the car park. Overall this is a really great attraction.

Great place to visit if out walking....great treat on the nicco cycle route!

The round houses are fascinating and great for all ages with a gift shop also on site-you can also buy the flour there.

The cafe has great choices for afternoon tea and the scones are very moreish!

You can also purchase freshly baked bread here to take home which is very tasty and lasts longer!!!

Will definitely return
