This is the most fantastic place with a wonderful atmosphere - we found everything first class and the staff couldn't be more efficient, pleasant and welcoming. The food too was excellent with such a wide range of quality dishes. Our room was immaculate and very comfortable and the views across the gardens to the sea are magical. It was our first visit but won't be our last!

Room Tip: Just choose any room - you will not be disappointed

This family run hotel is so well run, even the driveways are swept clean every morning! The staff are genuinely pleased to meet us again, and remember most of their returning guests. Nothing is too much trouble, even the cleaners have a smile and a "Kalimera" (good morning) for guests. The surrounding area is very wild and beautiful, especially the gorges, Imbros and Aradena. South west Crete is real Crete, with amazing quiet villages, friendly Cretans, and goats everywhere. The secluded beach with clear blue sea and fish, has its own bar and facilities and a mini-bus back to the hotel, throughout the day. The food is amazing, every night the salad selection ( about 15 items) is different! The cooked food is all traditional Cretan and with amazing variety and choice each night. Guests of many nationalities were all enjoying the food and atmosphere. Most were willing and able to chat despite the language barriers. The only disappointment was the strong winds stopping the local boat trips. If you hire a car, be prepared for hairpin bends, rocks and goats on the road, but breath-taking views and fabulous mountain scenery.

Room Tip: Bungalows are larger and away from the evening music if you want an early night. All rooms have AC and balconies but you choose a mountain or sea view.

We were in Vritomartis for the fourth time. It is always absolutely clean, the staff is super, congratulations.
We can really recommend Vritomartis to the real naturists.
Close to nature, super food, nice family atmosphere.
What can a naturist wish for more?
