This is the 4th time i have visited this site
Entertainment 4-stars(expensive for what you get) just short of 30 pound each)
Caravans -5 stars
Swimming-4 stars would be 5 if it dint have a urine smell in showers
Scenery-5 stars
Staff 5-stars apart from one staff defending restraunt food.
Complex 5-stars
Arcades- 3 stars prize return is very poor they hack machines so your winning money goes down side so you dont win. dont bother me too much as it's fun.
Fishing - 5 stars this pond is the best pond i have ever fished

RESTAURANT- 0 STARS THIS FOOD IS VULGER STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS ANY THING MEAT IS COOKED ON A SAME CHARGRILL WICH FOOD IS COOKED ON ALL DAY SO YOU CAN IMAGINE BY TEA TIME SO THE CHAR FROM MULTIPLE MEATS END UP ON YOUR FOOD LEAVING A DIRTY CHAR TASTE.tried every year always same.

Do not let this put you off you can takaways from a place called alfeeno deliver to your caravan door or the complex really good pizzas. Aldi 5 mins away. So make sure u dont make the same mistake i have 4 times. If u stay away from restraunt u will enjoy the holiday.

If they listen to this review it will be the best park ever. Kids absolutely love it here.

Two Adults, one 10 year old, caravan (comfort) Friday-Monday. First time staying in a static caravan it was clean, spacious, warm, shower, two toilets, kitchen with all utensils you will need..the only negative was the smallest tv you could get. The site was clean, staff helpful, entertainment nightly although it was extremely loud. A good size pool although the Gym was looking very tired in need of an upgrade. Very child friendly and a shop which was reasonably priced for milk, bread etc. Ate there one night, good selection of food, reasonably priced. Overall better than expected only issue was with the picnic area, looked spacious on the map however when got there there was one table. Same for the kids play area next to it looked like a lot there but there isn’t.

Stayed here 3 nights during the very wet and windy weekend . We were in a caravan on the edge of Olivia’s way , with lovely views across fields .Caravan was clean , spacious and had central heating which we certainly needed . However , there was not one single coat hanger anywhere to be found . Some enterprising person had hung the clothes aired over the bar in the wardrobe to use as a makeshift hanger . I usually carry a few coat hangers with me but , Sod’s law , this time I left them behind ,as they hade never been necessary in the past . Now , i don’t know whether it is policy not to provide hangers, or whether some previous guest had taken them home by mistake . There wasn’t even a hook to hang our wet coats on , we had to hang them over doors. I did telephone guest services and left a message , but no one got back to me . We didn’t really use the facilities , but on our first night decided to eat in the bar . As we arrived the fire alarm went off and everyone was evacuated outside into the pouring rain . When we were let back in the eating area of the bar restauarant was freezing cold , decided this was because doors were left open for evacuation . Didn’t stay to eat that night ,we drove to the Roos Arms , which was excellent . We decided to try eating on site again , but it was still freezing cold in there and doors were open and air conditioning was blasting out cold air . We stayed this time and huddled up a corner , the food was adequate but didn’t stay hot very long .

Dear nonabass
Thanks for taking the time to review our park. We’re pleased you were impressed with the view from your accommodation. We’re sorry to hear about your issue with coat hangers and, unfortunately we didn’t get your message as we would have been happy to provide some, they should be in all accommodation but sometimes people seem to like them and remove them when they leave . Sorry you experienced poor weather and were here when the alarm went off. We hope you may choose to visit us again in the future.
Kind regards

The caravan was ok, clean and spacious. Location is great. But no access to beach unless you go down on rocks where the old boat is on land. Tide in in the evening around 5. But water all brown of sand and clay from the cliffs. Nature walk is nice and leads to beach where you can walk along side but be careful as cliffs crumbles.
The entertainment centre is ok. But pool has stupid hours. And it’s not clear that public swim isn’t until 2 in afternoon, before that it’s different groups that has access. And pool closes at 5! Should be open longer for those who are away during day and want a swim in the evening. Gym is a small room and not so well equipped. Have 2 treadmills , one cross trainer and one rowing. The staff are friendly but it took 3 people to answer when gym is open. You would think staff would be informed about basic opening times in the park. The food is not good. And it’s not clean in restaurant. Tables not clean, not wiped off. Staff needs to a better job with that.
Prices for drinks are ridiculously high. Rip off!!
Shop close early in weekdays so go to Sainsbury’s or Tesco (not far) if you been away during weekdays. Shop only open later at weekend.
It’s a good place if you have kids and want to give them a holiday. But for couples I wouldn’t go there to relax.
But the nature is lovely and so many birds to see. Ducklings everywhere and area where the fishing pond with the bridge and water fountain is near the beach it’s lovely done. I’ll give the place a 4 rating. Cos for the kids it’s a good place to be. And our granddaughter had a lovely time. And after all we went there for her to have a school holiday break with fun and adventures.
A place to go and visit is Flamborough head and Spurns head. It’s fantastic. Really a must to go there.
So 4 (for being kid friendly and the nature around )
3 for staff (Needs to do a better job with cleaning and knowledge )
2 for opening times at pool ( if you’ve been away all day and it’s raining in evening then it would be nice to have access to pool for relax and swim)

Dear Anna V
Thanks for taking the time to review our park. We are delighted to hear that your granddaughter had such a great time and that you enjoyed the nature aspect of our park and visiting the local area. Our pool is open in the mornings for a general session between 10/10.30am and 12.45pm, you must have been unaware of this. We are sorry we didn’t get it completely right for you and will pass your comments to the various teams.
Kind regards

We booked a Caravan rental privately, which was more expensive that direct, however, it was fully equipped and was in a quiet spacious area of the park, overlooking fields and the lake.We used all the site facilities. What a wonderful surprise, I cannot understand what people expect who moan. (I am pretty fussy normally) but the value here is unbelievable...

Firstly, the grounds are absolutely pristine, lots of lovely walks and the picnic areas around the many lakes are perfect.

Amazing staff, they honestly can't do enough for you, if you ask! lovely clean pool area and spacious changing rooms, (they may be a bit messy towards the latter of the afternoon). Not too busy, it was quite quiet for the first week in June. My 5 year old daughter loved the play park and the entertainments crew, special shout out to Robbie, Ashlea and Pippa, you are all brilliant and work so hard.

There have been a few reviews on expensive drinks, you can get a pint of mixer soft drink for £0.60p and a huge glass of wine for around £4.50... Similar to any pub/restaurant or other holiday site, what do people want?! It's not a pound shop!

Bar food was okay too, £4.95 for a kids meal and they were quite large...

We took a trip into Withernsea, not the pretty village type place but has a lovely beach, Aldi and fish & chip shops for the real seaside experience!

A bit of constructive feedback to management:-

- Please could you install a swimwear spinner in the changing rooms?
- It would also be good if the kids entertainment good stretch to 8/8.30pm? I realise there is Bingo, but surely the adults can wait up a little longer for that one...
- Keep the cleaners eyes close to the Pool changing rooms in the afternoon and toilets in the evening, some people are just messy and don't believe in tidying up after themselves!

We will definitely be back...

Room tip: Overlooking a lake, and specify with parking, otherwise, I believe you will have to park away from your van.
