Average breakfast buffet - breads and pastries, bacon, sausage (that had absolutely no seasoning), scrambled eggs, potatoes (were a bit mushy from sitting in the steamer) hash, yogurt and cereals. Tasted average as well. Wish I had known that you could have ordered off from a menu. When we sat down, we were asked if would like coffee and was told to help ourselves to the buffet. 3 of us had the buffet and coffee - bill was $72 w/o tip.

We had two dinners at the Sagamore (fine dining) and one at the South American bar and grill (casual) which have a shared menu and management. Dress in both is come as you are, but a dressy casual is the most common; take a sweater because the rooms may be cool. The prices are reasonable for an upscale hotel like the Inn at Bay Harbor, with the most expensive at $45 a fantastic Ruth Chris comparable filet mignon; other fare is in the 20's and 30's range. Check with the desk staff for other places to dine or for the best hamburger in town; they are very helpful.

The food was enticing but my saffron risotto wasn't seasoned, someone ordered a mid rare - rare steak and it came out mid well, the service was very m.i.a. (we had to get up and ask for our check from someone else after waiting for 15-20 minutes). Although, I had a much better experience with service in the hotel bar .

You can get an amazing salad, a great sandwich or a steak to rival the best steakhouses. They have it all. A little pricy, but quality, taste and service made up for this. We have never been disappointed with any menu item.

Love the white fish, chicken, the rolls, and the omelettes. Of course the service is wonderful. You have a view over looking the lake, the patio is so relaxing. Excellent staff.
