“Peaceful tidy cottage with Stunning Views”
Reviewed April 10, 2016 for a stay in April 2016

Although a little difficult to find initially (a number 19 on the telegraph pole would help) this is a fantastic country cottage with a lovely host, Margaret. It is clean and tidy throughout with copious amounts of hot water for 4 - great kitchen to cook at home if you want to and a lovely atmosphere.

My kids aged 11 & 14 didn't miss the wifi at all as we were able to play cards and chat in the kitchen and the sleeping arrangements were great for 4.

We used the cottage as a base to visit family living in Coleraine and to see the usual tourist sites all around.

Many thanks for our stay - every day to see the stunning views made our holiday

“Highly Recommend. Amazing location - will be back soon!”
Reviewed April 7, 2016 for a stay in March 2016

We are a family of four - Mum, Dad and kids aged 6 & 4.We have just returned from an AMAZING five day stay at this beautiful cottage.

We flew into Belfast International airport and hired a car. It took approx 50-60 minutes to drive to the cottage.

The location is amazing - simply breathtaking. As soon as we arrived we felt like we were at home.

The cottage was spotlessly clean, warm and the open fire was made, all ready for us to light on our arrival.

Kitchen had all you could need and more - we cooked lots of meals here and enjoyed some quality family time around the table next to the hot Rayburn cooker.

Bedrooms again were super clean and beds were very comfortable

The kids enjoyed playing football outside the front of cottage & playing the board games & DVDs supplied.

Cottage is perfectly positioned for day trips - we visited:-
HM Prison Crumlin
Titanic Exhibition
Dark Hedges (from Game of Thrones)
Bushmills Whiskey distillery
Carrick-A-Pede rope bridge
Ballintoy harbour
Portrush East Strand Beach

We were very lucky with the weather and enjoyed lots of picnics on our days out.

We have already recommended the cottage to family and friends and look forward to returning ourselves in the near future.

“Fantastic cottage in lovely location!!”
Reviewed February 13, 2015 for a stay in November 2014

We found this cottage to be a home from home. The range in the kitchen and the open fire in the living room made it feel so cozy and warm. It was only 2 mins from the beach of White Park Bay and with stunning views and beautiful sunsets it really was the ideal escape from the rat race of work!
We will definitely be back!!

It was a wonderful experience of living here. The owners are just as helpful as they can, which is what impressed me the most. Just 10 mins walk to whitepark bay. Ideal for summer vacation. If I get the chance, I will definitely stay here again.:-)

“Cosy Cottage”
Reviewed June 11, 2013 for a stay in June 2012

We stayed in Porthole Cottage for a week in June 2012. We were met on arrival by the owner, who had lovely home baking all ready for us on the kitchen table. The cottage is situated in a quiet rural area but within easy driving distance of Bushmills, Portrush, the Giants Causway, and the Antrim coast, with all its lovely beaches. The cottage had everything we required and was very comfortable and cosy. We enjoyed our time very much.

“A good holiday cottage”
Reviewed May 31, 2013 for a stay in June 2012

My wife and I had a pleasant and relaxed one-week stay in Porthole Cottage. The weather was variable, and on the day that it rained non-stop we just stayed in and were very comfortable. The owners met us on arrival and were very welcoming, also providing a generous starter pack of bread, butter, jam and milk. Car parking was right by the door and the accommodation was all on one level.
