Amansari Residence Resort

The Amansari is ok for business trip. Always some fresh air due to the particular ( and elegant ) architecture. Nice restaurant room with view on the golf and parc which really makes you feel in Malaysia. Usefull to have a Chinese and a Japanese restaurant in the basement of the hotel, and a large choice of other ones less than 5 mn driving. Nice swimming pool is also appreciated after the day work. Negative points are rooms a bit thin, clean up not always perfect but ok, and the duration of the check in and check out including some difficulties to get what you want and to be understood.

Nothing much to hoo haa abt this place, apart from the fact that it's near the industrial area and I don't like the other hotel in this area.
This is my 4th stay here & the 1st thing I noticed is that they have the same wall picture in all the rooms I stayed.
Cleanliness of the room & the bath is acceptable.
Becos of business visits, it's convenient for me when they prepare iron board in all rooms.
I will stay here again.

From the outside, the Amansari Residence Resort seems like a pleasant stay, however, once you enter it, it's a different story altogether.
Firstly, when I walked through the hotel, I noticed that several of the walls had paint peeling from it. A sign that this place had seen better days.
When we entered the room, I noticed that the toilet was in a reeally unsatisfactory condition, for example, the toilet paper roll was rusted and there were cracks near the door.
That wasn't the last straw. Suddenly, the power supply ceased. (Notice how I don't say tripped here)
Overall, I think is an okay accommodation to choose if you are frequently traveling during the day. I am greatly dissatisfied by the quality of food and the rooms here.

Stayed here recently with my family. We took 2 rooms and check-in and check-out were smooth. Room is not very spacious but comfortable enough. Iron, iron board, kettle, basic toiletries, mini bar are available but the safe box wasn't working. Variety of TV channels with some Singapore channels available. WiFi available but I had to phone the front desk for the password.

Room service got my order wrong when I asked for fried rice with no veggie. They send veggie fried rice instead but after I informed them, they sent the correct plate & let us keep the wrong plate FOC. Good crisis management there.

Breakfast selection was acceptable. Local food mainly. Comfortable dining area with view of the golf course (I think). Convenient store available in the building, ample parking (touch your room card instead of take ticket), gym looked clean, swimming pool appeared small but shaded (kids seemed to love it anyway). There's a spa in the complex but I didn't check it out after seeing the facebook page :p

A good choice if you want comfort in Masai, not expecting to be in town, have your own transport and don't have many people in your party.

I have got nothing good to say about this place. I have stayed here before and it was not this bad.

However this time around I realised it's really bad. I had a shocking experience to see def cockroach in the bathroom. An also hair in the bathroom. Basically they did not clean the room properly. Bed she's were also dirty. It's not worth the price and I guess it's only going to get worse. Rooms are very small as well. Breakfast is also not great. Will not recommend staying here.

It was a pleasant stay and it is suitable for travelers with kids, especially if you’re planning for Legoland Malaysia. It is quite a drive from the theme park, but it’s worth the stay as along the way, there are plenty of seafood restaurants and eateries (we even hunt for koay teow kia which not very far). Or if you’re looking for a place to stay for a short term rental, the resort do provide short term stay on monthly basis at reasonable rates.

They have two types of room. I had the bigger one. It would have been ok but had some problems:
1. There were hair on the bathroom floor and shower.
2. They forgot to put towels in the bathroom.
3. The room was very dusty.
4. The carpet was disgustingly dirty.
5. The safe wasn't working.
6. The room stank.
7. They didn't clean the balcony or the balcony coffee table.
8. Internet often wasn't working and they kept saying "in 10 minutes it should be working" (hours without).
9. When there was a problem I had to ask and remind them several times before they fixed it.
10. Breakfast is ok if you are Malaysian. If you like western food, forget about it.
11. The people who work in the hotel keep using the guests' elevator so sometimes I had to wait more than 5 minutes for it to come. The cleaning ladies keep blocking them with their trolleys.
12. The people who work in the hotel don't peak English.
