What a fantastic evening we had in this outstanding restaurant.
We called the restaurant a week before our anniversary trying to book the "Candlelight Dinner for Two" which they offer for 129 Euro. However, as the restaurant has reserved a special small room for this event, it was booked out already for the whole week. However, the friendly Daniela Lanz offered us to have the candlelight dinner in one of the main rooms of the restaurant. The drawback was only that we wouldn't be completely on our own. That was fine with us.
Well, the evening was a real treat in a fantastic atmosphere. At arrival we were greeted by the friendly waitress who brought us to our table. The table was gorgeous. It was in a quiet corner, with a chandelier, candles, flower pedals, and a perfect layout of cutlery, etc. The house aperitif was included in the dinner and we got a really nice raspberry-champagne drink. Yummm. The Amuse Geul (on the house) was something I can hardly describe, but it melted on my tongue. The rest of the meal was equally exciting and to the highest standard. Every dish was a new adventure for us. Chef Anton Lanz is a genius how he prepares his seafood. He uses a unique set of herbs and spices which makes it one of the best food we had.
Service was unintrusive and professional.
For us one fantastic place we really can recommend. In addition, the candlelight dinner deal is real value for money. We'll be back.
