Situated in the village of Haveluliku on the Eastern Side of Tonga and only about a 30 minute drive from Nuku'alofa it's a must see.A tour of the cave ( including a swim) plus drop off and pick up can be organized by email or contact Teta Office in Nuku'alofa, TongaAnahulu Beach is just infront of the entrance of the cave and is great for snorkeling and swimming.

This cave is pretty amazing. You walk down into the cave for about five minutes, and at the bottom is a very deep, fresh water pool to swim in. It is very deep - there were people jumping in from about 5 metres up and not touching the bottom. The lights are just powered by a generator and while we were down there they turned off for a while, so be warned that may happy. Would recommend this cave as the best thing to do on Tongatapu.

Definitely worth seeing, loved our fresh water swim here, water warm. It was not what we expected as you had to walk a way into the cave before coming across the pool

From the moment of entry this place feels very special-the stalag-tites and mites look like guardians to a very special pool underneath- water was lovely clear and cool! well worth the money to visit.

Managed to find this place while driving around the island in a hire car. Two lads were sitting next to a fire and informed us it was $10 TOP each to go in. They took a while to start the generator but once it was on Sean (or Sion) showed us inside the cave. I jumped in and had a swim about, the water was pretty warm and it was a very cool experience. Our guide then decided to do a few swallow dives from the highest point in the cave, barely missing the massive stalactites hanging from the ceiling.

Definitely something worth doing while in Tongatapu since there is not a lot else to do!
