We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights. When we arrived we were expecting to take a swim at the pool as it was a very hot day but the indoor heated pool was not the right place. Then we were informed that we could use the outdoor pool of another hotel 5 klm away but the experience there was even worse. However, we forgot our first impression since our room was very clean and comfortable, with very big bed and good mattress, with rustic decoration, a large and spacious bathroom and breakfast that was just ok. The advantage of the hotel is the reception staff that was friendly and helpful and offered very good tips places and restaurants to visit around the area!!!

After driving through the Tuscan hills for some time we finally found this gem. This hotel is right in the middle of the town (literally), no car required once you get here. The rooms were large and very comfortable with spectacular views over the Tuscan hills. The staff were very helpful with good English, and the breakfast served daily on site was great with gluten free options available. With good restaurants to choose from, local wine and lovely scenery how could you not enjoy your stay here.

I absolutely loved this hotel - it might be my favorite hotel that I've ever stayed in. We had a suite, and it was large with a great bathroom. There was exposed beams, brick floors, large windows, and all of the Italian charm you could ask for. There was a great patio for all guests to share. The staff spoke fluent English, if that matters to you. The hotel was located in a quaint village with some of the best food we had in all of Italy. There was also an indoor pool, an outdoor cold-water jacuzzi and a spa located next door that were very cool to use. I would definitely stay here again - it was romantic, relaxing, quiet... perfect.

We stayed for 3 nights and a truly unique hotel in the centre of radda. The hotel was truly authentic and had lots of charm and culture. The rom we had was a large suite (15) the size of a London flat with wonderful beams and terracotta floors.

We used all the facilities including exercise room with weights (basic but sufficient), the adjacent jacuzzis and sun beds and the charming indoor heated pool. It was a charming maze of entrances to the hotel with the exercise and other rooms in the most wonderful solid stone medieval vaulted rooms. The whole village of radda was a special spot and this is definitely the hotel and hilltop village for a romance holiday with stunning views and oozing with charm.

It was easy to park on the street nearby and lots of amenities within a 2 minute walk. The staff were very polite and helpful. We were at the top and there was no lift. I enjoyed walking up a few stairs for a change but for the unfit and infirm, a ground floor room is best.
