“Friendly & good”
Reviewed July 26, 2014

If you want to eat some pizza in the week end , I think that "La Loggia" is the best place . The perfect Italian Pizza and a stunning view over the Tuscan mountains. The food is fair in price and quality. Father and son are very comlementary, an enthusiastic humorius chef and a very good English speaking waiter. We loved this place during our stay.

“Dissapointing and chaotic service”
Reviewed July 20, 2014 via mobile

Strange: on the signs it says 'pizzeria', but pizzas are only served in weekends. Service was very poor: we had to wait long before we could order some drinks and after that more then one hour before we had our food on the table. Pizzas were nice, but definetely not great. Not worth coming back for us...

“Does not live up to real Italian standards, a scam for tourists”
Reviewed July 14, 2014

I'm Italian and I must say, although the environment is beautiful, the food certainly does not live up to expectations. Let's start with the antipasti: we ordered crostini misti, and for the price of 8 euros they give you only 4 of them.... as for the first course I ordered spaghetti with lardo di colonnata and tomatoes, which were overcooked and watery. No real Italian chef would do that mistake, and I'm pretty sure that it was not true Lardo di Colonnata either, since I know how it really tastes like. The main course was a disappointment too as the the meat of the bistecca alla Fiorentina was too old and difficult to chew.
Most of the guests were not Italian, which may explain the reason behind this below standard cooking. Only good thing is the environment and the owner, who is really welcoming.

“Excellent food, superb view.”
Reviewed July 13, 2014

We have been here twice within a week. The food has been excellent (pasta, pizza, deserts) the owner more than friendly and the view from the terrace stunning. Will be back for sure.

“Great if chaotic restuarant”
Reviewed May 27, 2014

This is a really nice restaurant and popular with the locals too. The pizzas here are so thin and crispy and the best I have tasted. Out of season these are only prepared at the weekend. The owner is a real character and one of the reasons people keep returning. He is passionate about his food and the non pizza food is also very good. Service can be erratic but this is part of the charm. Worth a visit.
