The rugged coastline and steep cliff faces that you pass to reach the Old Man of Stoer is spectacular and it's worth continuing the walk to the Point of Store and then up to the nearby Trig Point on Sidhean Mor. In places, the walk can be boggy so good walking shoes or boots are recommended.

This is a beautiful walk along the cliff tops from the lighthouse at Stoer to the sea stack, named the Old Man and then onto the point. Boots a must as it is very boggy in places, though that just added to our fun! We enjoyed an ice-cream at Living the Dream afterwards too.

We parked at the lighthouse and did the walk across the cliffs. Boggy in areas but a gentle walk. Returned to the food van at the car park for some lovely ice creams. The view of the stack is great

We visited here to do the Old Man of Stoer Walk from the lighthouse. The walk itself was fine (pretty clear and flat) and the Old Man was interesting. Unfortunately it was a bit misty the day we went! However, the experience was overshadowed by the lady who was running the food van in the car park- she was very disruptive when we came in and a little rude (stood at our car commenting on our parking etc!) and had also held up others going into the car park.
