We stayed at La Grange for 3 nights, it is a very beautiful and clean B&B in a quiet location. The hosts are very welcoming and helpful, English is limited but this did not cause a problem.
The breakfast was incredible, home made brioche, best tasting croissants and lots of it. All the rooms have been decorated to a very high standard and in very good taste.

It's a 20min drive from Reims, we took a taxi for a champagne tour to collect us from Reims and they booked this for us and negotiated a cheaper deal to make it 40euros each way.

I cannot reccomend this place enough, it was a truly lovely place to stay and I feel very good value. Would love to visit again in the future.

Spent 5 days at La Grange for well deserved rest.
Having travelled on the Eurotunnel and enjoyed the direct road to champagne we arrived at the Gite 3 hours later. It has recently been renovated and both my girlfriend enjoyed the peace and quiet of the whole place ( we went off peak(after the grapes have been picked)) The food was Continental , great coffee, great meats and great bakery products.
Great host , very friendly and cant do enough for you , i hope this place becomes a great sucess as im sure ill be back for years to come ( and im not one to do that normally !!)

It is a very relxing space to just unwind and i would recommend it to anyone , this is a true find

Room Tip: 5 rooms all fab , look on the website for preferences

We stayed at La Grange Champenoise on our way from Dunkerque to the South of France. In fact it was so wonderful that we booked a night for our return journey two weeks later.

It is newly renovated, a barn conversion and is in its first year. There is an interesting album in the breakfast room showing the building work. Emmanuelle and Florent are wonderful hosts and although we have little French and they little English, we got by.

I was captivated by the "barn" upon arrival. It has been tastefully and beautifully decorated and furnished. The staircase and wrought ironwork are both beautiful and led to a spectacular bedroom and en-suite bathroom. The room was large, spotlessly clean and had an extremely comfortable bed. The bathroom was a good size, although no bath, again spotless and with a nice touch of toiletries supplied. Someone has previously mentioned that there was only a small bar of soap but in fact the toiletries were provided in a basket. Both towels and linen were of a very good quality, comfortable to sleep in and use.

Breakfast was typically French, do not expect a full English! It was a very good breakfast, tea or coffee, orange juice, bread, croissants, yoghurt, a selection of preserves, meats, cheese and fruit.

There is also a "lounge" for guests which again was extremely comfortable with two large sofas and a flat screen TV.

Emmanuelle and Florent told us of a local restaurant on our first stop, unfortunately by the time we returned it was closed for holidays. This was Le Jardin and I have posted another review on Tripadvisor about it - definitely worth going to, especially if you don't want to face the madness of Reims!

La Grange Champenois was somewhere that I really did not want to leave. I would not hesitate to recommend it and hope to return. The ONLY improvement I can mention is that it would be a good idea to provide wifi.

My wife and I stopped over at this place by chance coming home on our motorcycle from Italy. It was a stroke of luck we found it as there seems to be a lack of accommodation in this area. We were most impressed by the charming owners and the wonderful renovation of the property. Breakfast was first class. As one reviewer said Aumencourt is remote, but the village of Bazoncourt is only 8kms away, there is a bank with ATM, smallish supermarket, and a small restuarant. Reims is not too far away if you want more. It is quite easy to leave and rejoin the autoroute without to much hassle to find La Grange Champenoise. The owners even insisted that our trusty Triumph be kept inside the dry warm garage overnight. Yes, overall score 10/10.
