We loved it here. The guys running the place were amazing. Really friendly, fun, relaxed and helpful. The bungalows are basic, but they are great value and perfect location. We could get up and be on the beach in 30 seconds. Food and drink served here was also cheap and delicious, especially the seafood in the evening.

We stayed here for a couple of nights. It is a fantastic resort that is exceptional in terms of service, food and amenities. The bungalows have a rather relaxed, cottage feel with simple interiors., so you have views of the course with the sea facing rooms. The food at the restaurants onsite is excellent. The service is superb and welcoming. The memorable experience and highly recommended. a great resort to relax, indulge and stay secluded. I would definitely return.

Room Tip: Bungalow no 202 sea facing

We went there following the advice of our friends who were working in Goa for a long time. We were pleasantly surprised with the location - just at the beach(1 min walk to enter the water), next to the local market, not far from the other beaches like Agonda or Rajbaga if you feel bored in Palolem, near lots of huts and restaurants and of course Neptune Point club/cinema. The rooms are quite small and basic but cute, there are fans to cool you down during night but not during the hot daytime. Service is excellent, all guys can speak English and a little of all languages, all of them are helpful and caring(one of the waiters arranged a scooter for us). Food is good, they have a great variety of dishes but we got sick of them quite fast. There is also a pool table to while away your time, they've got wifi as well.
I should mention the other Neptune point club. It's a little weird to be at the silent party but it is new experience, so why not?
Every Wednesday they show a movie - this is one of the best parts in Neptune point. It's so temping - you are watching a movie having some wine and hearing the waves breaking at the rocks! Such a beautiful place, definitly one of the best and cheap places in Palolem!

We opted to stay in the cheaper bamboo beach huts at the back of the complex. Although these were very clean and spacious with good bathrooms and mosquito nets, security was an issue. It would have been very easy for someone to smash the doors in or climb through a window. We therefore didn't feel able to leave any valuables in our hut. The food here was the best we had on Palolem beach, lots of places do the 'pick your fish' thing, but the food accompanying the fish was best here.

Room Tip: If you want more security opt for one of the concrete huts.

I spent a day in their beach bar while waiting for my bus. I enjoyed reading a good book, eating the best Chicken Vindaloo in Goa had an ayurvedic massage and updated my blog.

Don't know about their huts.

There are 2 Neptune Points in Palolem, one on the beach with restaurant / bar that has wifi and god quality food. The other one is up on the rocks at the end of the beach, quite and tranquil, romantically lit walkways, there is a drinks only bar and no wifi. Neptune Point 2 (the one on the rocks) hosts the Silent Noise parties that are great fun, usually sell out, have 2-3 DJs and go on till late.

I've stayed at hut #106 on the rocks, the view was absolutely stunning, probably the best you can get in Palolem. The interior of the hut was very basic with only a bed and small cupboard. There is no hot water, but there are a couple of electric sockets, mosquito net, indoor and outdoor lights and it has a table and 2 chairs on the balcony as well as a washing line. That's about it.

The managers Suraj and Manoj (brothers) are very laid back and the rest of the staff are polite and respectful.

If you're only staying a few days in Goa I highly recommend Palolem beach and the Neptune Points.
My first ever visit to Goa was 2 months ago and I'm already heading back next week, taking a friend there for his birthday. If that's not recommendation enough, I don't know what is.

If you're looking for a chilled out lazy holiday with lots of sunshine you can't go wrong with this beach.

Official Description (provided by the hotel):
Neptune Point has simply something for everyone; it has space, lots of space and arguably in the best position of any resort in Goa. Surrounded on three sides by the sea, you can’t be anywhere out of earshot of the waves. Strictly, I suppose it is in Columb, but the headland overlooks Palolem and Patnam beach in the south. The huts are scattered around the headland, they are basic but the location makes up for it. A torch is a must and you need to be aware that the furthest hut from reception can be a fair walk!Generally this is a quite spot but once a week there is an open air disc with very loud music playing, but there is a sound curfew in Goa and at 10.30 the noise , sorry the music stops, the disc then become a ‘silent noise’ event where the party-goers are issued with headphones and the party goes on. There may be noise from the party-goers going home but this is not every night and the Np nuts are all located away from the party area. The weekly cinema is also very popular and shows all the latest releases, there is a charge of about 100 rupees, but does give you a chance of doing something different. The Massage centre is very good, run by Raja and his family team they specialize in practically every type of massage, particulate useful if you have been to one of the daily (up to 4 sessions per day in high season) yoga classes. The yoga ‘hall’ is situated on the top of the bluff, the location is simply amazing.I haven’t been to the restaurant, I’m sure it will be of the highest standard –let me know! Suraj will even arrange a pick-up from the airport / station and runs a taxi service as well, so he really does have all the bases covered, including laundry, can you believe. ... more   less
