Little Palm Grove is an adjunct to Palm Grove Beach Resort, about 200m down the beach. This was our second stay, this time for 16 nights. We love its small size (6 bungalows only), intimacy and sense that you are not staying at a resort hotel. The 3 beachfront bungalows are particularly recommended – with wonderful views of Ashvem/Mandrem beach - although having spent 1 night in one of the 3 rear bungalows we by no means felt second best.
Yoga and massages are available either on-site or in the adjoining property.
A warm welcome was given by Eva, Mahesh and all the staff – please make use of the staff tip box on your departure.
We enjoyed our stay so much we have already booked to return later this year.

We wanted a day out by the beach and decided to spend a few hours at Palm Grove, order some food, enjoy a couple of drinks and relax. None of these things happened, and the people here are down right racist to Indians! The waiter informed us that no alcohol is being served due to a “dry day across Goa”, there were 2 other Indian families who were denied an alcoholic beverage; we thought they may have valid reasoning behind not serving, however upon leaving a British guest asked for a Mojito with old monk and was served with a smile! I could not believe it!! The best part is I was staying with a friend in Goa, who owns a lovely restaurant and was equally confused as his restaurant was serving alcohol as normal. The “golden fried prawns” were bland and had undercooked batter, and the service team literally didn’t seem to care if we were there or not.

After a couple of hours later we left and went to Montego Bay where we were able to enjoy a few cold beers, with a lovely prawn papad. Shame on you Palm Grove!

Dear Guest!
Yes, as you know there is election time in India and you arrived on one of Indias and Goas "dry days" https://www.latestly.com/lifestyle/festivals-events/list-of-dry-days-of-2019-in-india-check-dates-when-alcohol-will-not-be-available-for-sale-in-your-city-561096.html

We are following the indian laws on how and when to serve alcohol.
We are terrible sorry you felt neglected. We always aim to make our guests feel welcomed, special and precious! Warm welcome back!

Just returned from Palm Grove Beach resort with my extended familie and I can just say that we loved our stay! We stayed in 5 bungalows in Little Palm Grove and enjoyed every minute. But be aware that this is not a "traditional" hotel as you stay in palm huts with very little privacy as walls are woven palm leaves.... But even I who normally prefers luxury accommodation loved the place and would definitely consider going back.

The area around the huts are very well maintained and lovely with sitting areas outside each bungalow. Staff is wonderful! And beach quiet and lovely.
A small advice though, be sure that there is not a yoga group at main hotel - they use the yoga room in Little Palm Grove and that can be somewhat intense. I am not a yoga person and last day we had 20 people around our house twice a day..

Room tip: Ask for bungalow with sea view!

We stayed here for 7 nights (in the White House) and loved it. The staff were great and the whole place was relaxed but efficient. The food was good and restaurant service excellent. The beach location is fabulous with long walks in both directions. My only problem was the dogs. There are reasonably large packs (12 or more) on the beach and they can be intimidating. There is a mixture of responses from tourists (many carry sticks when jogging whilst others feed them) and this no doubt confuses them. Something will need to be done and Rabies is a threat. I would not take small children to Goa because of this.

Hi,
Thank you for your kind respons. We are happy you enjoyed us so much! So sorry to hear about the experience with the dogs. They seem to adjust to life on the beach and Nothing has happen during our 10 years of business, but that doesnt mean it couldn't one day. The dog situation in Goa is a hard thing to handle if not decided to take action from a political level. All the best and warm welcome back!
