This was our ideal stopover. A friendly familiy hotel with a restaurant that cooks locally produced food to perfection. This really is a family hotel and family life is evident from the minute you arrive. The children are as much involved in creating the lovely atmosphere. We stayed at the hotel to break our trip south. We ate lunch and dinner in the restaurant and were served up excellent meals both times. All of the food was locally sourced and prepared beautifully. Local artichokes, mushrooms home made pasta and cured game were accompanied by local wine that suited them perfectly. The menu was not extensive but there was plenty of choice and with absolutely no italian between us we relied on our hosts and a phrase book to make our choices. In the end I dont think it would of matered what we had chosen it would have been of a high standard. I cannot praise this restaurant/hotel enough.
