I visited with my husband, my adult daughter and her boyfriend.
It is in an excellent position close to Kalk Bay and Muizenberg; we could walk along the seafront in either direction. it was a family-run guest house with large generous, well-decorated rooms, beautifully kept and very clean. We had two huge rooms each with wonderful views out across the sea towards the harbour of Kalk Bay.
They obviously had a large regular clientele who returned year after year. The ages ranged from well over 80 right down to their own granddaughter who was staying. There was a pleasant friendly atmosphere.
Breakfast was generous and specially cooked to order. There was a huge buffet so we could help ourselves. We felt comfortable and relaxed there. It offered bed and breakfast but they also provided an honesty bar so we could have a drink in the evening if we wished to do so.
There are a wide variety of local restaurants in convenient walking distance so it was easy to go out for an evening meal. There are lots of different restaurants and cafes very closeby. We felt at ease there. There are also interesting shops and boutiques to enjoy as well.
We could cross the road to the beach and could swim in the two sea pools nearby. We used it as a base to visit family and friends and to explore further afield.More
