“Nice place for a bite to eat !!”

Castle Isle Restaurant & Bar
Ranked #2 of 2 Restaurants in Rosneath
Cuisines: British
Description: Rosneath Castle is a five-star caravan holiday park on the beautiful Rosneath peninsular in Argyll, Scotland. Our excellent facilities include our own sailing school, and there is easy access to Loch Lomond, Glasgow and the West Highlands. It could scarcely be possible to imagine a more attractive setting than nature has provided for Rosneath Castle Park. We are just an hour's drive from Glasgow, yet the spectacular scenery will have you believing you're a million miles away.

“Nice place for a bite to eat !!”
Reviewed March 26, 2013 via mobile

Living in rosneath we use the bistro quite often for a bite to eat or simply a drink ! When family come we hire 1 of the vans and they love to eat here. They cater for everyone so if its a snack you want or a 3 course meal then no problem ! They have recently brought out a new menu which I have to say is 1 of the better menus over the years with local produce being used !! They serve your local variety of pub grub to a wide choice of different burger meals with an average price of between 6 & 7 pound ! They also have a lunch time special offering soup and choice of sandwich for £5. If staying in a caravan and can't be bothered cooking they also have a carry out menu ! The staff working here are very good and have a pleasant manner esp heather and chris !! If your passing by or staying on site I would definitely recommend popping in.

“Wonderful”
Reviewed March 22, 2012

We really enjoyed the 1.5 mile walk to here from the Easter Garth Guest House in Rosneath. It was my first taste of real Scottish food, and it was delicious! The service was wonderful and so very friendly. Excellent little restaurant/bar.
