Left with only one afternoon to spare at khajuraho, we had to choose between raneh and pandava waterfall and we chose the former and we were delighted. The waterfall is beautiful. The view of the deep canyon is so awesome with massive rocks. You can see 4 different types of rocks.
granite. Also ride through the jungle to ken crocodile sanctuary is full of wild animals like jackals, deers, peacocks etc. Guides are provided by forest dept, reasonable at 160 rs and very good. Went in Feb 2013, will like to ho in monsoon to see the fury of water.

Thank khadds

Visited this attraction from Khajuraho. Amazing place. Very organised. The guide was very informative and enthusiastic. The place looks heavenly in the late afternoon golden sunlight of the winter. A perfect miniature desi version of the Grand canyon of Colorado. Don't forget to take a drive through the forest to the ken Ghariyal santuary, which is an adjacent attraction with the same entry fee. The forest has got Nilgais, Jackals, Chitals etc.

The Raneh falls is on the Ken river which forms a deep canyon made of pure crystalline granite in varying shades of colours ranging from pink and red to grey. We visited the falls from Khajuraho. The waterfall would have been better just after the monsoons.

Breath taking views from the top of this place. Must take photos from different directions. Must see during trip to Panna from Khajuraho. We went in winters water was less but full during monsoons.
