Kia ora, fantastic to see so many enjoying the whole attraction, the kiwifruit normally we sell for export but this year for the first time we kept the fruit for customers to try...really proving it worth and great to see you took full advantage of the tastings...Kindest regards Grant Kilby General Manager

“Must love animals”
Reviewed July 31, 2013

I love animals and when I saw this attraction in the tourism guides I knew I had to go. The host of the show did a great job of getting the crowd involved as well as provided an informative show or sheep farms in New Zealand. It still amazes to think they had 19 different sheep on the stage at the same time, they didn't look real! We also took the farm tour which was fun. The alpaca and sheep love their treats from the visitors and they are not shy about grabbing the food out of your hand. This is great for a family or a couple who loves animals.

Wonderful to see you took the chance to take in both the Show and Tour, both quite different as you saw and enjoyed. We are always looking to grow our product offering even after 41 year entertaining millions...thanks again your comments were superb. Grant Kilby General Manager

“Fun show and actually educational”
Reviewed July 30, 2013

We enjoyed the Agrodome. It is very touristy, but we were not too overwhelmed and it was fun and we learnt something! Seeing all the different types of sheep was fascinating. The only criticism I would have is the host we had that day was a bit crass - which for all his talk about respecting animals, didn't seem to do this with his jokes...other tourists were lapping it up, but we thought the show would be still be great without the need to gross us out!

Thanks for your candid comments in your review, we aim to educate as well as entertain, I guess in the heat of the moment the stage guys sometime sway from the presentation having a bit of fun with our trans tasman neighbours...tactfully and tastefully...I hope (will follow up) with dignity...again thanks for coming along and we hope to see you back soon...Kindest Regards Grant Kilby

“Never fails to entertain!”
Reviewed July 17, 2013

We've seen the sheep show plenty of times over the last ten years but never miss it when we're in Rotorua with our kids. It's ALWAYS a blast! The kids love it, and so do we. This time they were brave enough to go on stage and milk the cow and then feed lambs so they thought it was all brilliant.
In the nursery after the show there was plenty of time to cuddle baby lambs, goats and other cuddly animals, another huge hit with the kids.
Cafe was also excellent and pretty quiet when we went with our very large family group of 11, so it was quick service and very family friendly. Watch kids around the white rooster outside though, he's a pecker!
Don't miss the show! Farm tour also excellent, although we didn't have time on this visit, have done it before and it's great.

Having seen the show hundreds of times myself I too never tire from the interaction between the animals and the stagemen, there's always something different to see. Next time your in town ask for Grant and remind me of your review and I might just have something a little special to offer you...thanks again for your on-going custom, kindest regards Grant Kilby...PS yes the Rooster is getting a little bolshy, he thinks he own the place...haha
