“Short stay in Cayton”
Reviewed May 7, 2017 for a stay in May 2017

Lovely little bungalow. A home from home . Well kept and tidy . My dog settled so quickly . Nice spacious garden . Only down side is the driveway is very tight but the owners were looking into extending it for better parking . Corner shop/ post office and nice little pub 2 doors down on the corner of the road. Chippy really close too. Pleasant 15 minute walk to the beach at Cayton and access to the Cleveland way .
Tea, coffee and milk all ready and waiting on arrival . Great central location for Scarborough, Whitby and Filey . Thankyou Alan and Amanda .

Thankyou. The gardens are very big and great for the family pet to have a great time whilst on holiday in Scarborough. Filey is only 9 mins away and also Whitby is only a short 30 minute drive. Worth a visit when staying here. Cayton bay beach is a dog friendly and clean beach, we used to go there as children with our parents and spend the day.

“A little gem”
Reviewed May 1, 2017 for a stay in April 2017

My husband decided to take me away for a relaxing weekend. He found this little gem and really did me proud . The bungalow is situated in a small quite close. On entering wow is the first thing we said talk about spotlessly clean spacious and home from home. The owners can not do enough to make sure your ok.the area as everything on hand from a small shop on the corner to a pub just 30 seconds walk away. Meals there are excellent.
We have stayed in some places in our time and in over 30 years of self catering this ad to be one of the best. We can not reccommend enough. So with said thank you Alan and Amanda for the break we really needed. Oh and thank you for allowing the dog it was his first ever break with us and he's worn out.

Cayton Bay is a great dog friendly beach. Very clean. There are some long walks for dog walkers. Filey is a short drive away same as Scarborough North Beach near the sands. Just outside Scarborough is Dalby forest. A very extensive park and woodland area great for the day out for your pet.
At the end of the road is the village pub. Dogs welcome. The holiday cottage has a large rear enclosed garden for pets. Scarborough holiday home is central to many great days out visiting local attraction. It is a quiet and reading place to stay at anytime of the year.

“Clean, comfortable, peaceful”
Reviewed August 14, 2016 for a stay in July 2016

Spent a restful week here, exploring the coast and around with family and dog. Friendly (and dog-friendly) part of the world, amazing scenery along coast, and good pies at local shop around corner. Text messages from owner to check all was well. Would recommend to anyone.
