Where should I start...

(This part has nothing to do with the hotel.) Me and my girlfriend bought a 7 nights all inclusive stay at this hotel from TUI. It was our first time traveling with them. No problems at the airport with luggage, boarding etc. The only thing I didn't like was that the plane wasn't a TUI one but rented from Sunwing Airlines.

Now let's talk about the hotel.

We really enjoyed the whole stay at this hotel. Everything from the first day till last one was great. Check-in was quick. We came in late at night, were welcomed with a glass of champagne. We already knew about 3 different types of all inclusive and decided to upgrade from the standard one to deluxe one (platinum, vip, everyone calls it different), we did that on the first day after breakfast and were moved to our new room from 2nd floor to 6th floor with a lovely sea view. In the mean time when we were by the pool they brought us big plate of fresh fruits, sweets and a bottle of champagne to our room. So if anyone can afford it and it's only €30 per night plus €17 for sea view go for it, you won't regret it, its really worth it as you have safe included in it, bottled water every day plus you can get how many you want from the lounge on 6th floor, premium drinks and many more.

Now talking about bottled water policy in this hotel. For me everyone should be treated equally. You shouldn't drink any other water than bottled one when you're in a hotel. And they are refilling it with ordinary water at the bars. Also if you upgrade to deluxe you still have to pay for bottled water at the pool bar but can get it free in the lounge on 6th floor. We never experienced such a thing in any other all inclusive hotels. Please change that.

The pool area is very large. No problems with the sunbeds. You can reserve them for whole stay if you upgrade to deluxe. The pool itself could be a little bit deeper at least part of it but overall it was great. Always clean.

The food in general was good. One day was a lot to choose from, the other day not. Beef and lamb was the best from meats (to all the people who say that they use cheap bits of meat, keep eating that premium meats from Tesco or Lidl or wherever you get it from). Very tasty pizzas, mainly Margherita but still delicious. Whenever there was a fish, it wasn't cooked very well. Snack bar food very poor, no burgers or hot dogs. Good idea with sandwiches in lobby bar during evening, we liked that.

Drinks, cocktails, enough to choose from. If there was something missing on the list, there was no problem for the staff to mix something else for you. Special thanks to Christos and Yannis(I'm sorry if I miss pronounced your name) for the best drinks and cocktails.

The BBQ restaurant is a self catering one. Overall good.
The Greek restaurant isn't an a la carte restaurant. They bring you meals one after the other. We liked it the most.
The Asian restaurant. Well most of reviews here says its very good. But it isn't. It's an al la carte restaurant. As we are a regular sushi eaters we wanted to try it here as well. There was something wrong with the fish. For us it just wasn't fresh.

The staff in the hotel is doing very good job. They work very hard and I feel sorry for them that they have to work in such a heat.

Entertainment poor. Very poor. Well if you want to totally chill out and listen to piano player or sax player you probably gonna like it. But I couldn't stand a moaning singing lady or two guys singing the other day... Terrible.

The age of people vary from 18 till retired. We as a young couple enjoyed the stay. We will definitely come back here. If they change few bits this hotel deserves 5 stars.

O dear what's has happened to this hotel, went last year and couldn't fault it, this year feels like it's dropped to a bog standard hotel, the drinks are disgusting, food is still nice, but what has happened to the staff, last year they couldn't do enough for you, this year thought they we really rude expecially the girl in the main bar in reception, what a rude ignorant person, you had a ask her to please serve you, which see might as well as thrown it at you, feel so disappointed this time, so we won't be coming back again

Booked hotel for our honeymoon with it our first time to paphos. Booked a premium room and when we checked in asked the receptionist to explain what 'premium' was but he didn't know which wasnt great! After speaking to the other receptionist the following day he explained it was the refurbished rooms which are on floors 4 and 5. Hotel room was lovely with a great view over the pool and a view to the sea which was great to watch the sunsets. Bed was very comfy and aircon was fine. Buffet style food which is expected in an all inclusive which was good. You can book into 3 la Carte restaurants. We found the Asian one to be the best with then serving a variety of dishes and not all fish wish was good! One of the downsides of the hotel was the different upgrades which wasnt explained. You can only get basic drinks and no branded alcohol unless you upgrade which wasnt explained we just assumed with us been premium we could get the drinks we wanted. Another point is sun beds are reserved for guests who pay for the upgrade which can be frustrating as whilst we were there the majority of the reserved sun beds were unused! Also be prepared to get up early if you want a sun bed by the pool as they quickly get taken with towels early on! Enjoyed the hotel overall but think the hotel needs to adress the different upgrades or atleast explain them to guests! You also need to check out at 12:00 and it will cost you 70 euro if you want to keep the room. We booked a slot with reception which gives you a room for half an hour to get a shower which is good. Again the reception do not tell you this we found out from another guest but it is good to use if you've got a late flight. Will definitely come back to paphos but will probably try another hotel on our next visit

If you want peace and quiet (music all day round the pool) then you need to book a swim-up room, which we had, thank goodness. I have enough noise at home don't need it on holiday. Room was basic, needs updating. bed was the most comfortable we have ever had on holiday. Hotel was very clean, friendly and helpful staff, although when you leave no one says goodbye. Food, where do I start. Breakfast/lunch ok. We struggled to find something to eat for dinner. Everything was either covered in sauce or had everything, but the kitchen sink mixed in it. Even the potatoes were either mixed or covered with a sauce. They need to do some plain food. If you wanted a salad for dinner there was mashed up tuna, looked like cat food, or tasteless cheese. No salmon, prawns, cold meats etc. All hot food was cold. Do not try, what they call roast beef, meat loaf, horrible. If you like coffee bring your own. Totally tasteless. Drinks from the bar were awful. If you like a pint don't bother, flat. Although we were all inclusive, we went across the road to get a decent drink. Entertainment was also rubbish. The night club was so loud and played music we had never heard of. That was why it was nearly empty most evenings. We did have a lovely meal in the Asian restaurant, wouldn't rate the Garden and Greek restaurants. If you like walking, great walk along the sea front to the harbour. We walked sea front and then walked in land as a change. If you did sit round the pool you had to be careful of those people who were allowed to reserve their sun loungers. Big grip with people there was they were empty all day. Would we go back. NO. It's a real shame, with some thought to the entertainment, change in who they get their alcohol from, more plain food, etc this could be a really good hotel.

Room tip: If you want peace/ quiet you need a swim up room. Studio 4, 5, 6 or 7. Studio 1, 2 and 3 you can hear music coming from the night club.

We stayed September in a swim up studio room was smaller than we imagined but had everything we needed, it was the best part of our holiday private space was great and pool could only be used by the 7 rooms also private terrace, so we spent most of our time around our room, it was much quieter than main pool I would recommend this room if you want more private space.
Food was great a good choice, visited all 3 restaurants they were nothing special apart from the service food was just as good in main restaurant.
Beach and sea was not great, other places in Cyprus have nicer beaches.
Entertainment was low key, and very good but not really suitable for many of the guests in the hotel. After people watching we observed many people dancing into the lifts, if they made a little area for people to dance I think they would but music situated in a walkway.
disco was to loud for majority of the age groups. Outside entertainment also had no dance area and a lack of seating, the entertainment needs adjusting to customers feedback.
Now to my biggest gripe the alcohol was undrinkable I’m a gin drinker and it must be the lowest quality available, I have tasted better from Aldi or a super market brand. I felt it was to expensive to upgrade as we are not big drinkers. We did not realise there was different grades of all inclusive when we booked. We may have not booked if we realised
I stayed in another all inclusive in Paphos last year and the local drinks were fine. Management need to look into a new supplier. of there basic alcohol.
We did go across road to local bar to get a decent drink which we should’ve needed to do with all inclusive.
It is a shame that we would not return because of the alcohol, as the hotel has got so many great features and could have been 5 stars if they sort drinks and entertainment out.
