love this very local spot, GORGEOUS beach & a very local taste. not great decor, but the real "ting, mon." local food & a bit of shopping (kiosks on the beach), we love the curry goat & conch fritters, as well as the other local dishes. locals also love this place, it's not just for tourists! did i tell you about the BEACH? wow!

I chose this beach after doing a lot of research. We arrived at the beach early, around 9am. There were very few people there, and we were able to get an umbrella with no problem and paid $5 per person for a lounge chair. The beach was beautiful and pretty quiet. As the day went on, more people arrived, but I never felt like it was real crowded. There were a couple of little stands on the beach, and the ladies did approach us once to see if we wanted to buy something, but they weren't pushy. They claim to have Wi-Fi on the beach, but it was pretty weak. The restaurant there was ok. The service was very slow. I would recommend this beach if you're looking for something quiet and relaxing.

Crystal blue clear water, a nice restaurant with restrooms, nice umbrellas that are free to use. If you meet a guy named Wiggy, ask him for coconuts, mangos, and black pineapple. He will also note if you have a sunburn and sell you fresh aloe to treat it. It is a quiet beach but absolutely gorgeous...the kind of beach you see in travel magazines.

Our tour guide dropped the group off here and there were changing rooms in the bathroom at the al fresco bar and restaurant. It was a peaceful beach and safe and few bothered you hawking aloe massages.
