This was our first 4 day live-aboard and I absolutely loved it!
The whole trip was run professionally and the staff were very friendly and helpful throughout.
Amazing food given the size of the galley and the number of mouths to feed!

My only criticisms are:
1. I told the operator in advance that I was XXL but they didn’t have a wetsuit big enough, meaning I had to dive in rash/top & shorts.
2. My partner was a non diver and only received a £70 reduction. No snorkelling was offered throughout the trip.
3. Your equipment rental charges are unfair. Just have a simple daily rate for the items you hire that adds up to the 500 Baht ‘full kit’. Many were complaining that they were overcharged when hiring just a few items.
4. We all paid 500 Baht per day for Marine park entrance, but day 4 was on a wreck outside the park. Were we overcharged?
5. The itinerary states a return time of 6pm but we got back at 2pm. If this is the norm, then tell us as it can affect onward travel plans.

I don’t want to sound too negative as it really was a good trip, but these minor things can often detract from the overall experience.

And finally ...... no bloody whale-shark!

Fantastic first liveaboard experience for me. A great thanks to Steve, Deano and the wonderful crew. They ensured unique dives, smooth organization, nice food (specially Thai food), and above all a very pleasant and relaxing mood.
I also learnt a lot thanks to highly experienced dive guides who really know the dive sites (once again thanks Steve and Deano).
This 4 nights / 5 days liveaboard refreshed me a lot, and it is a really must do liveaboard (especially with above mentioned dive guides and crew).
More than 5 stars from me.

We went for 4 days and 4 nights with MV Andaman. Everything was great, starting from dive sites and ending on great food provided by the boat crew. 100% recommended.

I echo the review by Jan777_777 from March 2015. Our trip was 5 days from 13th Feb '18 and am happy to say that the very high standards which are mentioned in this review two years ago are still all true.

Great team lead by Ricardo (skipper and dive-master) and his colleagues Francesco and Guido. I found the following were excellent:
- very strong focus on safety, with detailed briefings tailored for each dive, depending on conditions on that day
- lots of help in suiting up (and down) in addition to usual buddy checks
- we had the very spacious master cabin, which was impeccably cleaned every day, during our pre-breakfast dive!
- really good food, both Thai and Western for each meal. The risk is eating too much!

There were only 9 divers (max 10) on this trip, which was great as we all got to know one another - helped by access to a spacious dining table and chill-out area (and also inexpensive Singha and Chang beers!).

I would happily return to this liveaboard and have already recommended Giamani to several diving friends.

Paul assisted me in finding a perfectly-timed, appropriately affordable dive trip. All contact was through email, and the response time to my questions was very fast, usually within a few hours. He provided detailed information on the boat and equipment, and provided guidance on dive insurance, etc.

Pick up/drop off at hotel was on time, and boat and cabin, food and equipment - all was as described.

I would use Thailand Liveaboards again, and would recommend them to all divers.
