Went for a 3 night stay last week. It is a hidden gem in the Phuket town. Within walking distance from Saphan Hin and at the same time good glimpse into the old town of Phuket. Slightly far from beach but it is a different experience. Would totally recommend it to anyone who wants to come over to the Phuket old town. If there is anything to improve I would probably say to add toiletries rack in the bathroom. Nice and helpful staffs. Thank you for TV having me!

If there is one hotel that I would recommend on Phuket it's this one !
This hotel is all comfort, very quiet location, large swimming pool. The rooms are very clean and the staff is really friendly and welcoming. Too bad that we stayed only two nights, because we felt so good here!

We loved the minimalist stye of the building in stack contrast to the green hedges and deep blue pool. The stuff where extremely professional and helpful. The gardener kept the English garden in superb condition.

Great beds, great rooms, very nice pool, but most of all a calm, clean, almost zen oasis just a 10 minute walk from Phuket's Old Town. Phuket Town is not the kind of place we'd ever stay for more than one day, but for us this little, very modern butique hotel was the perfect stopover en route from Bangkok to the "Bounty-land" islands of western Thailand.

So yes, you may have to carry your own luggage up two flights of stairs.

So yes, it's a 10-12 minute walk to the centre of town (but it's out to the main road, turn left, and then straight ahead for ten minutes - no hassle).

So yes, the western type (and priced) restaurants are all in the centre of town - but if you've never tried Thailand's 'hole-in-the-wall' or even food-cart restaurants, you really should, and there's plenty of them in the near vicinity... there's even a McDonald's just 3-4 minutes' walk away.

The Malika Hotel is worth it! We recommend big! (Bigly, even!)

The Hotel is off the beaten track of the usual busy tourist magnet locations. Saying that, its only 10 minutes walk to the old town. The Hotel is quiet and tranquil with friendly staff and spacious bedrooms. Saying that, the bedroom could do with some extra arm chairs and a coffee table. Breakfast choices are adequate. Wifi service however need to be improved.
