The staff at Sansuko Ville make you feel like family, which is always nice while travelling. They can arrange anything for you and make sure you have anything you could need (with the exception of fresh coffee, which they don't stock).
We especially loved the short walk through their neighborhood to the night market, held every afternoon and evening. We loved sampling Thai cuisine and the atmosphere was so lively and colorful!
As for location, it really depends on what you're looking for. We had just finished a stint on the beach in Krabi, so we were happy to just lay low for a few days, explore Phuket Town, and eat market food. If you're looking for a place right on the beach this might not be for you. The staff will very willingly drive you to and from the nearby beach or arrange transportation for you, but it is about a 10 minute drive away.
Also, try to not get bungalow #2. At night it seemed to be common for some other guests to stay up late singing karaoke and being loud, and this particular bungalow has a window facing right in that direction. This meant lots of noise aimed right at us until wee hours.More
